November. 28

-19 and a fog, walk in highlands park

The fog lifted mostly by the time we walked

It was a great experience getting out happy we waited til 10:30 to walk but almost πŸ˜… a little disappointed ☹️ that we never walked in the deep part of the day with fog.

The dog would of been happy she looked cold πŸ₯Ά

I had to decline a second lap due to the dog. She wasn’t complaining as such, but I could see she was cold πŸ₯Ά.

We lost 😞 our rank 22 on the leaderboard for November but still quit a good score at 24 rank for November

Dixie is doing good, she doesn’t get as much walks or runs due to I may suit up for it, Dixie on the other hand 🀚 can not as much as I can.

She is an indoor animal and doesn’t go out much in this kind of weather environment.

Sleep and activity is good 😊

Awesome 😎 Dixie is getting good sleep πŸ’€, with me working nights I don’t fall asleep up midnight and then waking early I got a poor sleep. I also didn’t feel good 😊 and my HRV has been low for unbalanced for ten days now.

Poor sleep for me

Ten days of low HRV

Shorter walk but when it’s -19 out yeah πŸ‘.

Still got to do a base run today it went from a 50 minute run down to a 37 minute run due to my poor sleep last night. Drank coffee ☕️ to late for my end of day to stay up later

Bryan got me a English sausage muffin and a donut and hash brown that I shared with the dog πŸ•

For driving him around today, after we decided it would be okay for him to drive. I’ve been saying the roads are good 😊

Looking πŸ‘€ into the sun ☀️ not the sun looking behind us

A nice 😊 day I have to say, I think πŸ€” it would be a good 😊 day off getting some stuff done ✅ on the morning.

It sounds like you had an interesting day, despite the cold weather and fog! It’s great that the conditions cleared up a bit for your walk in Highlands Park. There’s something magical about fog in the morning, even if you missed the deep fog experience.

It’s also nice to hear that Dixie is doing well, even if she’s spending more time indoors. Sometimes the cold can be tough on pets, and it sounds like you’re being attentive to her needs.

It’s understandable that your sleep has been affected by working nights and early mornings for Sleep can really impact your overall health and how you feel throughout the day. It might take some time to get back to your usual rhythm, especially with your HRV being low.

Despite these challenges, it seems like you made the most out of your day! A base run, enjoying breakfast with Bryan, and getting some sunshine—what a nice way to spend your time. Keep taking care of yourself and Dixie!
