Popson dog run
A November run says it is -1 when I was running, 🏃♂️ now it’s 0 Celsius.
2.7 km in 23 minutes and I got my personal record for running. I’d like to do another five km run see if I could do it under 40 minutes. I’d have to have a better pace than 8 minutes per km.
Lots of catching up to do, I went to bone and biscuits to get Dixie nails done, usually they have walk in from 10-3 to just get her nails done 💅.
But they are temporary closed, I was wondering how come they didn’t were, I used they’re store for year supply of my dog food when I split it between Walmart brand and a acana dog food
And get her nails done there.
Notice Dixie might have been bother by her nails I thought I’d drop in today to get her nails done.
Dixie is a great 😊 runner and we only had one problem of Dixie frezing up when two dogs intimidated her. I had to run back and get between the dogs. The owner politely called their dogs back. All took another 30 seconds off my pace so Less walking than normal on my run to earn back the loss pace.
Had an awesome 😎 run. Going for another walk later today with another friend: that be posted here later in the day, if weather cooperates and Bryan joins.
We walk almost 2 km in the river bottom by the gun club.
Still is 0 Celsius out at the moment and Bryan and I are enjoying the latest weather.
This time I got to walking the dog, 🐕 she was good behave all the dogs were tail wagging when we approached and went by. Made a good walking experience.
Dixie is doing awesome in active minutes
Although she has fallen in the leaderboard for November.
Calgary got snow ❄️ now I’ll believe it when I see it in Lethbridge but the weather is calling for snow. ❄️
I’ve heard it fell from a few sources of friends.
Today was such an exciting day as Dixie and I continued our journey together! After a long hiatus from running due to my previous dog Finn’s leg issues, it feels amazing to lace up my shoes again and hit the pavement with Dixie by my side. We managed a solid 2.7 km in 23 minutes, which gave me a personal best! I’m thrilled to see Dixie climbing the November leaderboard, even if she did slip a little in recent standings. We encountered some challenges during our run, including a brief moment when she got intimidated by a couple of other dogs, but it just strengthened our bond as we navigated the situation together. We wrapped up the day with a lovely walk along the river with my friend Bryan, enjoying the crisp, cool air and making the most of this beautiful November weather before the approaching storm. Here’s to more adventures and milestone moments with my amazing running partner, Dixie!
