Lost Weight

Lost about 35 lbs in 35 weeks. One pound per week. End of February I lose some weight change my diet.  Introduce one meal a day different. I change my morning to eating oatmeal (fiber) and yogurt(probiotic) For February, March, April, and May. Then in June, I try out some fiber pills which I see the biggest change in my weight with Chia seed powder and flaxseed powder, with metamucil. I saw my weight drop fast steady with it then. I've heard of adding fiber could be an appetite suppressant also help with cholesterol and blood pressure. Also be a meal replacement for making other meals last longer in budgeting process. The constantly being close to a bathroom has also been improved.  Where it's been either stuck up or just water problems... So I started a quick google search of many different things that I thought helped.  And oat is a gluten free way to add fiber.  I know people will say oatmeal is bad but for most it's a stepping stone up.  They say oat is bad for your s

First in my family to get my fourth Covid booster

I'm the first  A bit of white in my beard but that's besides the point.  Life is not going back to normal. I often look at people like pandemic restrictions coming back or my life as before with out pandemics.  Not much else has changed.  News is terrifying right now and if your not seeing it, it's bad. Like the industrial revolution when farmers came to the city they had no jobs and joined the military. That's how WW started, and in the technology revolution there saying has just as many unemployed or more. Men Without Work: Post-Pandemic Edition (2022) So after listening to reports of Covid spike coming in January.  They say life will never go back to normal after Covid.  Chance are it could even mutate into a 25-55 age killer.  Instead it's just doing a number on 55 and older.   I'm almost positive that another spike in ICU are coming in January (how big or if restrictions come back) and wanted to get my injection beforehand. Saving people extra burn out or

Morning walk with Dixie

Lately I've been getting 13k steps So today we walked and had a few bench stops. Talking a few photos out on our walk. It was more like an hour and a half but we kept stopping so I'd pause my watch and remember to put it on either later to start or later after a stop. Dixie cuddling in on the recliner when she heard she was going for a walk in a few minutes. She jumps up and puts her head right on your lap. I was writing in my Moleskine as she interrupted the call and planning in my agenda. A good walk, in a pleasant October. I find it you got a walking buddy it's way easier to get out for one.  So we've been walking lots these past few days. Dixie has been sort of a good mood. Says she's barking and having a fit and others she well behaved. On walks she is well behaved. I'd say if she people watching out front she can be badly behaved. So far walking with Bryan 😃 I've still been losing weight steady.  Since December last year I've lost over 33 lbs.

Morning Ride

I get out when it's plus 12 outside. Get a great photo ☺️, 👍 I had to turn around and look.  Took a gravel road. And this is a great spot for a photo. Motorcycle before the sun came up, I only tracked 1/3 of the ride.  I did most likely 12 km before the sun came up.  A bit chilly 🙂. The sun is shining now and a hot air balloon was being filled in the park.  So I pulled over and got a photo. Was shining into the sun so not to good of a photo.  But not enough to steal the moment.   A short ride around the west side. A great photo I took. Looks like it could be in a magazine ☺️. With a TW-200.
