Snowboarding 🏂
My brother and I go snowboarding 🏂 doing about 11 runs. I heard if I wanna pay for my lift ticket I have to do at least 10 runs in a day.

My max heart rate was 180 but my average during the snowboarding trip was about 139
Talk about working out 🏋️♀️ for the day.
The afternoon we explored more of the mountain we never started repeating, runs till in the afternoon and we wanted to go down groom trails, and see the kids do jumps.

To be far I think I had to tighten my boots 🥾 about after the first or second run my boots could get tighter to stay on better.

I feel good 😊, it is an awesome 😎 time and quite the work out 🏋️♀️. I feel great, going with my brother is a stellar way to enjoy 😊 the start of the year.
I think with all the fog we got in December and November that February is going to be good riding for snowboarding or skiing there’s going to be lots of snow.
And with the sun flipping poles this year, every 10 or 11 years, we got a super big snowstorm so I’m expecting some decent snow this year enough that I bought a WOW card and thinking I’ll go Again.

To my surprise there was way more snow this year than expected, I guess past year the runs we were on this year were closed last year at this time of year. Most of all the runs were open . Only a couple runs were closed

The trip was exciting we did 11 runs today.

We snow board with a few of my brother friends kids. They were doing some impressive tricks. At the end of the day also. I didn’t think my legs could stay under me or my knees would be in my chin on how I felt at the end of the day.
With some of these jumps these kids were doing it was impressive, they were commenting how they had great teachers at the ski hill that showed them some helpful skills.
The do instructors are awesome at castle, i was told and the hill had some nice features and decent size for where its located. Better than the longer drives to other resorts.

Overall, a really grateful for my brother for driving out there. It’s been 10 years since I’ve been snowboarding that’s what my last ticket says on my other jackets so I’m guessing it was that long ago was my last trip.

It like you had an incredible day snowboarding! It’s great that you and your brother were able to spend some quality time together on the slopes. Doing 11 runs is impressive, especially considering the variations in your max heart rate and the effort you put in!
It’s interesting to hear how the conditions were better than expected, with more snow available. Riding groomed trails on a flexible board sounds like a smart choice, especially if that’s what you’re most comfortable with. It’s also cool that you got to watch your brother’s friends’ kids do their tricks—that must have been inspiring!
It’s perfectly normal to feel exhausted at the end of such an active day, especially after some jumps and tricks. Your body probably appreciated the workout with all that snowboarding!
Having a solid lift ticket allows you to plan for more days on the mountain. It sounds like you might be heading for some more exciting rides in the upcoming months, especially if you’re expecting great conditions due to the snowfall. And who knows, maybe you’ll even get to try out your powder board later in the season!
Thanks for sharing your snowboarding adventure! Do you have any plans to go again soon? ❄️🏂
Hopefully going to go again in the next couple weeks I’m hoping so. We’ll start to have to be making tentative plans for sure to go again.
Even if I did about 20 km worth of exercise today I still didn’t get my 50 km I needed to do for the week.

I’m still not gonna make my Camino and I am so tired today. I don’t think I can do that extra bit of kilometres to get to my 50 km and Monday is my last day to do it.

That’s good 😊 productive is 😊 good, strain is bad but over reaching is good also. So over all a good 😌 day except I never got many steps.

Just a wonderful time of the year.
