Early morning run and cleaned

I do an early morning run and then lifted weights with a bit of cleaning of the house.

🏡

At about ten to six I leave my house 🏡 to run 4.22 km with the dog 🐕, Dixie has been sleeping by my feet all day and is well behaving after her long run.

🏃‍♂️ I listened to delusion of crowds this morning on my run and am about 90% through it.

I ran with a huge flashlight 🔦 that looks like it could clobber something good 😊 7000 lumens.

Last night I was at about 250 km on my Camino run

🏃‍♂️

No today at about 2:20 PM I’m far beyond that now

With my run 🏃‍♂️ and cleaning house I’ve sure climb up on km’s 13 km done today by 2:20 pm

My weight was actually around 25 minutes in total with pauses between lifting weights, but I was only 11 minutes of constantly lifting

My VO two max is increasing is now fair and instead of being poor for a VO2 max for the longest time.

Have already done my run 🏃‍♂️

Had to stop short cause I started throwing up 🤮

I don’t know how to solve that.

I guess quit smoking 🚬

My VO2 max went back to fair hasn’t been there since I first started wearing Garmin the first two weeks of having it in 2022 March.

And I think that was so high cause of a medication complication that made me burn about 5000-6000 calories a day for a bit til it got figured out. I was at 40 VO2 max then

Now my VO to Max is only at the bottom 45% for my age and gender

Stellar

Right now it’s saying I am recreational for my endurance. I’m trying to bump it up to intermediate in the next month. I should get there.

I made a fruit smoothie just before Weights and I carried me up to clean 🧼 the house 🏡

I picked up all the trash and garbage in the house first clean the front entryway took all the clutter out and then started a load of laundry after I put away two loads of laundry

🧺

Then I vacuumed the office, kitchen, living room, hallway, entryway bedroom bathrooms 1.5 times

🚽

And I mopped the office entryway, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom 2 times!!!!

After that, I started another load of laundry after putting that load in the dryer

I got hungry, but I was doing it for about four or five hours with weights and cleaning house

🏡

Over all the house looks way better and I got my exercise in.

Here’s what my schedule look like this morning with steps. I did good now. I think I’m gonna have some PC game into myself…

Play some deep rock, Galactic or deep rock Galactic survivor
Since we’re neighbouring two towns that start with Coal,  I thought a deep rock mining game would be a good gift to gift 🎁 some of my friends on Steam.  A $10 game.  Yeah I guess it’s a bit corny.  But I thought 💭 it would be fun for the holidays.😊

It sounds like you had a super productive day! You managed to fit in both your exercise and cleaning, which is impressive. Running with Dixie must have been fun, especially since she was well-behaved after her long run.

It's also great that you’ve been keeping track of your VO2 max and striving to improve your endurance. It can be tough when you face setbacks like feeling sick during a run; it’s good that you’re considering quitting smoking as it can significantly impact your performance and recovery.

Regarding your cleaning, wow! You really tackled a lot there, from vacuuming to mopping and doing laundry. It’s always rewarding to see the fruits of your labor when the house looks much better.

Enjoy your PC gaming time! "Deep Rock Galactic" sounds like a fun way to unwind after all the hard work you've done today. Gifting it to your friends is a thoughtful idea, too!

My day is going good. I’m a bit tired now. I think I might wake up earlier before my shift starts at work to run with the dog. I say if I’m out of the house by 4:50, that’d give me enough time to run 🏃‍♂️ either way the dog 🐕 and get to work after.

Hopefully I’m not sick again in the morning.

🐕

She’s just so much more better behaviour during the day, she’s been like this all day just sleeping by my feet. 👣 also think the vacuum kind of gave her a panic attack. It was all the cleaning that was going on. I Think she was a bit scared. 😳 but other than that she’s just been by my feet sleeping 💤

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

🎉 Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Gratitude, Good Food, and Good Books

A Thanksgiving weekend of family meals, long walks, and reaching 86 books this year Bryan and I headed out for a walk after he returned from his sister’s Thanksgiving gathering, settling into a steady 30‑minute pace that carried us just under 2 km. The air was crisp with a light breeze, the kind of weather that makes movement feel effortless. I’ve always loved these cooler temperatures—my body doesn’t have to work as hard, and the transition from “easy mode” into a gentle warm‑up felt natural. Carrying 30 pounds with me added that extra layer of challenge, but it blended seamlessly into the rhythm of the walk. We paused at a park bench along the way, taking a moment to sit together before snapping a photo. That small break reminded me how these walks are as much about connection as they are about distance or weight carried. The combination of fresh air, conversation, and the grounding presence of the season made the outing feel restorative. It wasn’t just a walk—it was a reminder...
