Bryan legacy park and weights

 It got windy 🌬️ today

A couple times I had to hold onto my hats so that the wind wouldn’t blow my hat away. I thought it was OK for a walk, but it could’ve been a tad bit chillyWith the wind, also coming over the river.

Walk near a kilometre in about 13 minutes.

A short walk, although we did lifted weights for about 22 minutes after. I still gotta do a 23 minute base run today haven’t ran for the last two weeks because of a heart event.

I did about 12 sets and I have and that’s all we want to do. I think we got a little bit tired. I made fruit smoothies with protein powder and creatine and antioxidants in it..

It was good 😊

141 reps I did.  Bryan was pretty close to my reps also.

Got my max heart rate up to one 151 bpm But my average heart rate was about 133 bpm.

Feel good after hopefully Kim and I go for a walk after work.

Dixie stats for the day at the moment.

Dixie is ranked 32 on the leader ship board for April better than our 38 just a couple days ago.  It’s been good cause I have got to spend most the morning with Dixie on drives and just walks and just with doing Weights, She’s been a good team player right now.

Dixie is 14% above average for breed and her average minutes of active minutes is about 127

So far just at noon Dixie’s at 112 Active minutes to Make her day.

It sounds like you had a productive day, even with the windy weather! Holding onto your hat is definitely a must in those conditions. It's great that you managed to get in some walking, weightlifting, and you're planning for a run after your break.

Having Dixie as your workout buddy must be motivating, and it's awesome to see her doing well on the leaderboard. She's clearly an active and playful companion! You're doing a fantastic job staying active and keeping track of your fitness goals, especially given your recent heart event.

Remember to listen to your body and take it easy if you need to after your run. Enjoy your walk with Kim later!! 😊

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
