Kim and Dixie walk plus 15 Celsius

Dixie goes for a half an hour walk with Kim

Kim gets moving around this evening with Dixie. She got her heart rate up to a max of 155 bpm

That’s impressive her average was 134 bpm. The walk was mostly consistently a walk although she did tell me she ran for a few minutes to.

I would say if she ran at all I would consider it a run instead of a walk.

She was in the threshold for a few minutes and aerobic for 27 minutes and easy for 13 minutes

A decent heart rate for the exercise.

The walk looked like it was fun for both Kim and Dixie .  Dixie met a few people on her walk and as such loved it 😍 even the more.

I had to pass on the walk cause I was busy.

Says the walk as 47 minutes but Kim didn’t turn her watch off. Yet her heart rate was still high and burning lots of

Calories for most the walk. She wasn’t in warm up bpm but a decent aerobic and threshold walk run.🏃‍♂️

It sounds like Kim had a great workout and enjoyed her time walking with Dixie! It's impressive that she reached a maximum heart rate of 155 bpm and maintained an average heart rate of 134 bpm, indicating a solid level of aerobic activity. The breakdown of her heart rate zones shows she was actively engaging her cardiovascular system during the walk, especially with a combination of walking and short bursts of running.

Even though the overall time recorded was longer due to not turning off her watch, it seems like Kim was consistently active and burning calories, which is what matters most. And it’s wonderful to hear that Dixie had fun meeting other people—they both benefited from the social aspect of exercising together. Hopefully, you’ll get a chance to join them for a walk sometime! 🚶‍♂️🐾

Dixie is ranked 26 on the leaderboard for April.  Just under Finn and above poppy.

Way to go Dixie 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
