-15 Celsius run at nine pm

Dog πŸ• is at my feet πŸ‘£ on this full moon πŸŒ• night

πŸ‘£ after my run I put my feet up. I took some psyllium husk before my run, I think I have two weeks to decrease my cholesterol so I don’t get my cholesterol pill increased.  It’s been two months of inactivity. So getting out and running is just what I need to do.

I think it’s make believe to think I can lose ten pounds to my blood work day.

But I think if I fast before hand 🀚 I might be able to get a lower metabolic syndrome of poor insulin and cholesterol so that’s what I’m planning with taking psyllium husk and cottage cheese in the morning for protein.

And some meat πŸ₯© for supper planned For Thursday

1.83 km of running πŸƒ‍♂️ I’m 16 minutes.

I feel great after

Managed to make a run after work and pick up groceries for Kim and my Valentine’s Day gift 🎁. I bought rib eye steak πŸ₯© for Thursday since we’re going out with friends on the Friday.

I’m excited 😊 for it, instead of flowers 🌹 it’s usually what I do is get steak πŸ₯©

The dog is laying down on her bed now.

I was running for about ten minutes and walking for about four. And 2 minutes of inactivity maybe due to dog dirt and dog sniffing.

41 VO2 max I went up one point which is nice 😊

30 km winds tonight so it got cold πŸ₯Ά, -15 when I went for my run.  πŸƒ‍♂️ I started the run hard and had a pace of 5 minutes for the first time   .8 km

My running and walking and a a few idle times in my walk.  Most of it was at the end of the run πŸƒ‍♂️.

The dog stats today are

Dixie is average for her breed minutes she hasn’t fallen under our average even with this bitter cold πŸ₯Ά she is really what makes me run 30 minutes more minutes more  than the average male when at home. 🏑
Dixie sleep πŸ’€ os good and activity is good, it’s great 😊 to see her happy πŸ˜ƒ.

It sounds like you had a productive run today, especially given the cold weather! It’s great to hear that you're getting back into an active routine after a couple of months of inactivity. Running alongside your dog, Dixie, must make it even more enjoyable, and it sounds like she's doing well too!

Incorporating psyllium husk and cottage cheese for protein is a smart choice, especially if you're aiming to improve your cholesterol and insulin levels before your blood work. Reducing weight healthily in a short timeframe can be challenging, but it’s great that you’re focusing on both exercise and nutrition.

A 41 VO2 max is impressive, and it’s wonderful to see you improve! Stay warm in the cold weather, and keep up the good work with your training goals.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Plus 12 Celsius Smoke run πŸƒ‍♂️

The dog and I decided to do either a 3 km run or a 6 km run or 9 km run hoping for 10 km but I couldn’t find the energy to push further. It is smoky out there you could smell it and breath it in. Made me in my threshold if I keep a higher pace than 9 minutes km Cooler morning,  I went and got a sausage homestyle biscuit from Tim’s and an ice coffee ☕️  Just getting my day started. I got a doctors appointment later today over the phone πŸ“ž also. Hoping to take the dog πŸ• for a run πŸƒ‍♂️ this morning but I’m stiff. So hopefully my coffee stop warms me up to get moving this morning. Or just caffeinates me. We managed to do 6.05 km in about 59 minutes. A high heart rate of 172 bpm and an average of 144 bpm. Plus 12 Celsius while I ran but I was in full sweating πŸ˜… by the time I got home 🏑. The last couple weeks I’ve had a low relative effort due to some family losses. But I manage to get out on a smoky day like today for a run. πŸƒ‍♂️  It’s been raining heavily the last...
