Dixie and I go for a walk
Our first time out with the both of us for a walk for a while it seems it’s just been too cold
🥶
We managed to do a 37 minute walk about 2.88 km And some nice sun in the walk to
Burn 264 cal
I’ve been trying to eat more protein lately
I hear it helps with a lot of things
Before my walk, it said I need 45 hours Till I recover from snowboarding, but I had to get out and walk the dog
🐕 dixie is happy she was asking to go all morning. I’ve been kind of playing it till the weather got the max temperature for the day.
After my walk, I look at the temperature. It says it’s -10 in the next hour.
Dixie is climbing out of the 30s into the high 20s for the leaderboard for February🐕
Our first lap was 15 minutes, but the second two were around 12 minute pace per kilometre
Dixie is sleeping good and her activity is good. She’s still above average for her breed we managed to stay above in active minutes in this cold temperatures.
Dixie was in hyper smelling sniffing every spot she could that’s why the first lap was 15 minutes paced per kilometre.
Some stats just to see that I’m not overdoing it. I’m just slowly walking not racing anyone it’s not a big competition. I’m just simply walking for about 30 minutes every every day.
A dog will do that to you
My watch just became ECG capable so now I can tell if I’m having a AFIB a heart issue or if it’s just anxiety 😥 that’s bugging me.
I find that useful to know.
I got a sinus rhythm which is good 😊
Although I’m hearing lots about metabolic syndrome
I’ll share some links below about it. I’ve noticed I gotta eat more protein. I got a lot of fat storage on my body so I don’t have to supplement with fat since I’m a little bit overweight not obese just over weight.
I’m loading up on a good macros ratios and protein.
It sounds like you and Dixie had a lovely walk together! It’s great that you’re getting outside despite the cold weather. Walking is such a wonderful way to stay active, and it’s awesome that you're paying attention to your nutrition and recovery as well.
Increasing your protein intake can definitely be beneficial, especially if you're active and looking to maintain muscle 💪 and improve mental performance. It’s also fantastic to hear that Dixie is keeping up her activity level despite the chilly temperatures. Dogs have a way of motivating us to get moving!
It’s also good to hear that your watch has new ECG capabilities. Being able to monitor your heart health can definitely provide peace of mind. Just remember to listen to your body and not push yourself too hard, especially when recovering from activities like snowboarding.
