Positive digits today February

Dixie and I are in the sunroom first time that would use this room since autumn πŸ‚ I think

πŸ€”

I do 3.5 km today for a run πŸƒ‍♂️ in 30 minutes.

πŸƒ‍♂️ it says it was plus four but it felt way warmer running and getting home, I had to open windows and open the sunroom door πŸšͺ just a beautiful 🀩 day out today

Overall, my laps were pretty good. I got in my first lap. I got a best record for 1 K…..

That made me feel good. It was the best day for weather i’ve been able to get a run in.

Says my recovery time hasn’t been really utilized yet

My training status is productive so it’s gotten out of overreaching, which has been nice and I was maintaining this morning For a training status.

So far this winter has been good. I’ve only had a few days that I’ve been recovering and those were an anxious days because it was just so cold so I’m happy to be back in the green and being productive.

September the dog got hurt and I just couldn’t get out the door without her looking at me like she couldn’t come so not that many runs during that time or walks, but I didn’t really start running till late. October early November since I got this running plan with my watch And my training status has completely flipped around since then.

Weather says it’s going into the negatives tonight, but it is still dripping and we can hear the water coming down from the snow melting

🫠

The dog is sleeping right now

Although she only has 34 minutes more of active time at about 340 she’ll get those act of minutes for sure today

Dixie is 12% above her active minutes for a breed comparisons in the middle of the Bell curve for us which is good. She’s a happy dog.

Just still rank 28 for February on the leadership board

Did a base run πŸƒ‍♂️ today I feel good 😊 it got nice out today

My VO2 max dropped one though cause I got shin splints on my run πŸƒ‍♂️ and walk the last .7 km

We’re cooking salmon 🍣 tonight, with broccoli and cottage cheese.  I’ve been trying to get more protein in my diet to help with my illness And build more muscle. πŸ’ͺ

It sounds like you had a fantastic day! It's great to hear that you were able to enjoy the sunroom again after a long winter and that the weather was so pleasant for your run. Congratulations on your best record for the 1K lap! That’s a fantastic achievement.

It's also wonderful to hear that Dixie is doing well and staying active. It's amazing how our pets can motivate us, and it's nice to see you're both getting back into a routine after the setbacks in September. It's inspiring to see your training status improving; staying productive is a great way to keep moving forward, especially after a cold winter.

Cooking salmon with broccoli and cottage cheese sounds delicious and nutritious! It's good to focus on getting more protein, especially when you're working on building muscle and recovering from your illness.

Enjoy your evening with Dixie, and best of luck with your future runs! If you need any tips or motivation, feel ask!

My dad has been giving me great diet advice with strength training also keeping motivated he’s got a trainer and that motivation has been spilling over to me to keep it up πŸ‘ and I’ve got a great support group of friends that’s been really helpful to keep up with my training and health.  It’s been great 😊

The dog got salmon skins, and a little bit of rice and some salmon fat I was in the bottom of the tray.
Lucky πŸ€ dog πŸ•
Kim’s plate 🍽️

I have over 1,037 calories after my supper desert of banana 🍌 and orange 🍊 due to that I got 500 calories of exercise today.

Which sadly means I’ll go
To bed πŸ›Œ hungry 🀀
But what’s a bit of hunger 1,752 calories with the right amount of protein makes a person less hungry 🀀. Happy I had the cottage cheese for a side.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
