Park lake plus 14 celsius

Bryan and I got to Park lake, he talked me into a 2 km walk instead of a 5 km walk.

On the bench after the dog goes for a dip in the water. we had a great time. Bryan got me a ice coffee, sweet of him to do so.  I tried to talk to him about doing a 5 km walk along University but he did not want too.  the Scenic walk by the lake while the navy cadetes were learning to kayak on the lake. Some one was saying he was happy it was never yesterday.  due to the wind the water was breaking white waves on the lake.

I find it not the largest lake but I'm sure it is man made or there might of been a spring there it is a provincial park some how it is. the trees are mature and the green foilage has been there a long time.

I carried my 14 kg weight about 30 lbs. on the walk doing two km. We found out i would have been 10 lbs more than Bryan with my added weight. the other day a pharmacist said he didn't think i weighted 230 lbs. I told him muscle weight more and is less the space but more the weight.
I smiled cause thats a nice comment.

AI gave a nice comment on improving in the last little while for walks. I haven't done much walking cause ive been doing  house cleaning or installing operating systems on my old laptops or mac minis that walking isn't getting done.

we did two walks bryan and I, I accidentally left one of the walks on while driving so it looked like we did two km but more like 1.3 km worth of walking and .7 km was when i figured out to stop it.  over all we did about 3.3 km today Bryan and I.

in about 45 minutes with move time and total time is some what different.

The dog got excited to see Bryan walk over water and had to jump in after seeing such a feet.  I got yanked to the shore so Dixie could prance in the water to show Bryan that what he does is impossible. Bryan walking over water  😳

With out the weight i was in warm up heart rate, and with the weight i was in Easy heart rate.  does make me feel that i get my heart rate up for better parts and doesn't seem like such a chore dolting my time away in meanless activity. Makes the walk a better achievement that i do want to blog about. or otherwise some times these walks go so much that I don't want to write.

30lbs is a huge deal to have all the time.  but to wear on an activity is enjoyable.  Make my feel like my abs and shoulders are tight well after the time wearing the backpack with weight.

Over all dixie is making the rank for June leader board. Her active minutes got done yesterday cleaning in the house,  and walks yesterday.  Today looks like she will make a second day in a row as it continues to progress through the day.

Dixie is Ranked 35 for June leader board and just under Maya and above Rocky.  Got to celebrate it cause last two weeks I've been docile to do anything but clean.  due to a cold and recuperating over my holidays.

Feel better today and did some walks with Bryan made the day much more like I could connect my thought from the dopamine and anxiety/depression reprive.  Definitly didn't feel worst after the walk. great things about rising your heart rate is you get better focus and better mood and get stuff more done in the day.

“dog owners do 30 minutes more exercise a day than the non dog walker.”

so hopefully i keep these habits up even when dixie ain't here. cause Dixie is my last dog I keep telling everybody... Dogs are expensive not only to keep here but property to keep a dog and the dream of owning a place on our own is not in the budget with places that fit dogs.

The dog admiring how Bryan braves the Dock walking. soon after she takes me for drag to the water.

We sit out front to appriacate our walk and our time with the dog,  before we go our different ways to do our stuff. I drove to the lake and Bryan got me an ice coffee for it. i gave him a water bottle for the walk,  and the dog is here relaxing on the grass laughing and smiling at her attention she got. happy dog.

It sounds like you had a wonderful and active day with Bryan and Dixie at Park Lake! I love how you captured the details of your walk, the scenic views, and the bonding moments. It's impressive that you managed about 3.3 km today, even with some schedule adjustments, and that you’re noticing how adding weight helps increase your heart rate and enhances the effectiveness of your walks.

Your reflections on the significance of the weight you're carrying, the benefits of walking for your mood and focus, and Dixie’s impressive activity level show a deep connection to your health and your furry friend. Also, it’s great to hear you're feeling better and gaining motivation from these activities after being unwell.

Keep celebrating these little victories and moments of joy—they’re important for your overall well-being! If you'd like, I can help you plan more walks, track your progress, or suggest ways to keep your routine engaging.

Like a five km instead of two walks that are 3.3 km…

People tell me just to keep moving on usually by my self… but they say it politely like 👍 will do it tomorrow….

Then some hour later say there busy…

It’s called ghosting but I’m used to it by now.

Or people change my plans from walking 🚶‍♂️ or running and do it some wearly a more of a chore for me to go when I’m the one usually inviting people…

For all anyone’s wants is more important and more meaningful…. Days go way to fast for me need more,.. walking time just needing more..

Dixie is unattainable for walks so more time in them is seven more steps to get near them walks but twice the distance away and twice the dreaming and the nights are just needing more.

Except a walking and running song I’m listening too.

Not enough time in my day for Dixie walks and to plan other people activities for her with my chores.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

A fawn born on our yard

A baby fawn was born on our lawn and it’s trying to warm up in the asphalt I’m guessing it’s still warm. We’re trying to give it space hopefully it mother comes by so we’re staying inside. I just went outside for a smoke and it crawled under the vehicle 🚗 lots of people are walking by it not noticing it then others are stopping.  Quite the thing to see. A few hours old… it’s still wet with mucus on it. With Kim’s super camera zoom is we could see Fish and wild life say to call in 24 hours if animals are left by moms  So we’re hoping people leave the fawn alone.  Although it’s a super cool 😎 thing to see. I think it hoofs are still soft from being born that’s why it’s staying put since it went on that hard surface till it’s hoofs Harden. It crawled on its knees after the side walk and just hunkered down for a bit. Two hours from first spotting.  Still there hiding under the vehicle 🚗 it kind of a good spot of course there’s better picked spots but it’s half and hal...
