Plus 24 Celsius 5 km windy run 🏃‍♂️

I get running 5 km in 24 Celsius heat The dog did good the wind kept the heat down, and Kim bought me Opa tonight for supper. I ate way too much. I could have ate less but I was hungry after my run. 🏃‍♂️  5 km in 46 minutes I had a pace of 9minutes per km 650 calories burned in less than a hour.  A photo at the bridge 🌉  I have a new heart rate max at 199 bpm that’s awesome to see I have that much of a maximum heart rate to go to.  Move time was 42 minutes with stopping to take photos and pick her dog dirt. Average heart rate was 156 bpm and max heart rate was 176 bpm I still had lots of stamina to give the five km a boost but with the heat and wanting a relaxing run with photos I kept it simple. 21 minutes in threshold run felt like I could of kept it steady in the zone the entire run 🏃‍♂️  23 minutes in aerobic heart rate zone that’s was most the run with minutes in easy heart rate zone  A nice tempo run 🏃‍♂️ they call it. The laps were decent ...

Plus 19 Joe 5 km

Joe and get walking 🚶‍♂️ around chinook lake.  A small 1 km per lap water shed in the north of Lethbridge. Great job overall on staying active and managing your activity levels!  Did about five laps and then picked up some cottage cheeese from the grocer to make for lunch. Do that add another .4 km but no weight walking into the grocer.  I left that in the vehicle along with my water bottle. I walked with 30 lbs again for five laps.  Average bpm was 123 my max was 143 bpm my average speed was 5 km max was 8 km per hour. Moving time was just over an hour at 1:03 Pack weight was 14 kg or 30 lbs My total calories was 600 cal burned in the walk. Mostly in easy heart rate zone for most of it, once I took the pack weight off and walked to the grocer for cottage cheese I think I got into warm up zone. Or it was 51 minutes in easy heart rate zone of 117-138 bpm between there for most of it. Dixie heart rate is good,😊 averaging at 57 bpm She is breathing good 😊 with...

Plus 17 Celsius bench run 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I make a morning run  🏃‍♂️ we run to the bench in the park and come straight back, originally I was running for ice coffee but who am I kidding I can’t afford ice coffee ☕️  So I ran a bit drank my water bottle and early morning had caffeine pill. 💊  1.5 km in 16 minutes.  A good start to the day. I got to integrate longer runs but just wanted to go. It’s different if the dog is off leash and I can keep going while Dixie can stop when she wants and for however long she wants. Dixie is still rank 33 for June. started my fourth day quit smoking 🚬 my breath has improved from four days ago and the bad tastes are gone. Although I’ve been quit for Approximately 94 days this year in June I started again and trying to quit smoking 🚬 again this last few days. In 176 days still more than half way quit days then smoking 🚬 days

Plus 24 Celsius Tim Hortons supper walk

Kim and I walk to Tim Hortons for supper The dog and I walk for a bit with Kim, we see two fawns we’ve heard their twins  3.41 km in an hour that’s with sitting 🪑 down and eating our pace was 19:20 minutes per km Here is my pack weight for 30lbs I did carry my wife water also a fanny pack to carry my wallet and note book. I just got some new duds for work. The pants are black and the sun hoodie is for days off. People were saying I was frowning 🙁 today so I tried smiling instead. Dixie is in rank 33 that’s a mass number has to be good future for her in her ranking  By 5:30 🕠 we made it to our active minutes for Dixie walks today yesterday we were two minutes away from reaching her goal, such is life.  Half and half in warm up heart rate zones and easy heart rate zones we did sit down 🪑 for 30 minutes and ate our food at the tables outside Tims. Walking is an effective way to burn calories, especially when done at a steady pace like your 19:20 minutes per km. Al...

Plus 12 Celsius 50-80 mm rain 🌧️

Run in the rain 🌧️  Dixie and I run in the rain, supposedly in the next couple days were supposed to get 50-80 mm of rain 🌧️  Over the course of next two days, I had to take Dixie running in the rain then get home and dry her off with a towel. She love towel rubs when she is wet. Dixie is ranked 29 on the leaderboard for June above Albert and under Tinker.   We still have ten more days left to make it to 25 ranked  My heart rate zones were good for the 80/20 rule or Jeffing.  80 walking 20 running. 🏃‍♂️  A few stops to take photos in the rain if it would cooperate to do so. I was having difficulties trying to stay still for that long. Lots of idle times before hand, 🤚 more running to start with and then when my idles stopped I started walking more.  Makes sense… I was wet when I got home, the dog is happy 😃 now laying beside me. Enjoying the weather. Cool days the house is a better temperature 🤒 for sure. 👍  A delightful time running...
