5.5 km run plus 9 Celsius

It started with asking a few people to join me

Average pace above 9:52 per km

I started out good running then in the middle I had a harder time getting up the hill, but then on the flats again I started running and picking up speed back to a decent lap.

Started and ended in about 8 minute per km pace.  In the middle on the up hill I slowed down and my legs hurt but after getting a pace again near the end I thought I was doing good.  It still said I have a 63% stamina at the end of the run, I would have liked to do another lap after I did the hill so good. 😊

Yet I got to work evening tonight so I’m getting all suited in my work uniform to get to work.

About 27 minutes of running and 22 minutes of walking. Most of the was in the second third and forth lap.

I did have a pre cigarette 🚬 before I drove for my run 🏃‍♂️

I had to work myself up a bit, I also wondered if that made my second third and fourth lap so unbearable.

But the fifth lap and half a six lap was a good pace.

Dixie almost got in 28 spot for February on the leaderboard for the month.

Dixie is 11% above average for her dog breed. Another success.

We almost made her active minutes by noon 🕛 for the day.

Dixie isn’t sleeping good but as you can tell this last night was very interrupted sleep but A few days earlier we had the colour off, which I think is the real reason why your sleep is “OK” instead of “good” cause it needed to be charged.

I think this is one of the last years. I’m gonna spend on this tracker tracking Dixie’s activity, but it has been great motivation keep running with her and keep her active and I’ll help her be healthy.

Over all the run said it would be 58 minutes max I did it in 54 minutes so a win there for me. Says it plus ten now but I think the vehicle said it was 4 Celsius that hour I ran in it warmed up good 😊 between, I had to take off my hat 🧢 cause I got so hot. 🥵

It sounds like you had quite the running experience today! It’s great to hear that you started strong and pushed through the tougher parts of the run, especially the hill section. It’s common to face challenges when running uphill, but it sounds like you managed to regain your pace afterward, which is impressive!

Dixie seems to be doing well too, and it’s wonderful that you’re keeping her active and healthy. It’s interesting how the tracker helps to motivate you both and monitor her activity. Even interrupted sleep can be a challenge for pets, but with your dedication, she’ll continue to stay active.

Congratulations on completing your run in less time than expected! Despite the obstacles, it seems like you had a successful outing. Good luck as you head to work, and don't forget to recharge that tracker! 🐾🏃‍♂️

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
