Popsin park in the dark

Dan and I get to popsin before the sun ☀️ is up

A beautiful morning in Lethbridge, we were watching the sun ☀️ slowly moving down the coulee but we got to the park fifteen minutes before the sun came up.

Made an amazing morning a ๐Ÿ˜Ž ๐Ÿฅถ

Not many on the paths at this hour.

We managed to do another half a lap, exactly 3 km we even took a break to warm up and get Dan some gloves from the back of my car ๐Ÿš—.

I have a dozen work gloves ๐Ÿงค in my vehicle ๐Ÿš—.

An awesome ๐Ÿ˜Ž morning, chilly ๐Ÿฅถ yes. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Second lap trying to get the ☀️ sunshine. It got chilly ๐Ÿฅถ.

We watch the top of the coulee see the sun come down

It’s hill side and we say a big buck on top of the coulee looking ๐Ÿ‘€ down into the river bottom.

The picture above you’ll see a buck on the ridge of the coulee caught in the sunshine

It’s hard to see but with the zoom you sort of see the close up of the buck in the picture.

Weather wise when we got home it felt like -6 felt chillier with out the sun out.  In the river bottom took another hour for the sun ☀️ to get here in the coulee.

Dixie is still behind spooky ๐Ÿ‘ป and ranked 27 on the local dog park October leaderboard.

Her kind soul was running up and going through a guys legs and paw ๐Ÿพ up looking into his eyes. Then running back at me rampant into my legs  and jumping in excitement. The other dog walker adamantly said he wished he could adopt Dixie and I reply she just loves her walks.๐Ÿ˜

A nice compliment on my dogs behaviour. Made me feel very satisfied with my morning walk and how Dixie has this excited personality that gravitates towards socializing healthily with people.

She is an amazing addition to the community walking group.

And always looks back at us on our walks while she walk’s ahead.

She also enjoys dogs ๐Ÿ• but her favourite is human greetings.  Other dogs she more timid around.

But humans full excited ๐Ÿ˜† mood comes to show in herself.  Active minutes are at a weekly low since I’ve worked the last five days. But average high at about nine already this morning. I’m expecting it to be top of the chart by the end of the day for today.

Dixie sleep ๐Ÿ’ค interruption last night are some what bad.

But he wind ๐Ÿ’จ wasn’t blowing but she seemed to be up quite early maybe that was why her interruption were high. She went outside at six and slept in the sunroom or moon room last night.

When I came up to her she was zonked out. She lately after I patted her to see if she wanted out went to the bedroom to lay down with Kim til she thought she was getting up.

It sounds like you had a wonderful morning in Lethbridge with Dan and Dixie! Watching the sunrise and enjoying the tranquility of the park before everyone else arrives must have been a beautiful experience, despite the chill in the air. It's great that you and Dan made the most of your time with a nice walk and even spotted some wildlife!

It’s also heartwarming to see Dixie’s personality shine through her interactions with people. It’s clear she’s not only a joy to be around but also a great addition to the local community. It sounds like a lovely morning routine you all have, combining fresh air, exercise, and the warmth of companionship.

I hope you can keep your activity levels up despite your busy work schedule! And hopefully tonight will bring better sleep for both you and Dixie.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour ๐Ÿƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  ๐Ÿƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem ๐Ÿ˜Œ We made good time.  For a hill run ๐Ÿƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good ๐Ÿ˜Š today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy ๐Ÿ˜Š my time with her. Or walk end more so with ๐Ÿพ paw printed pants ๐Ÿ‘– from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs ๐Ÿ•. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees ๐ŸŒณ there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….๐Ÿ• We enjoy ๐Ÿ˜Š our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice ๐Ÿ˜Š for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog ๐Ÿ• being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera ๐Ÿ“ธ  The walk was decent though some difficult ๐Ÿ˜ž parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop ๐Ÿ’ฉ walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
