Got to be a hot 🥵 day for a walk.

Turned out great 😊 for a walk 

1.75 km in 24 minutes.  We did good 😊 

Managed to start the walk a little late.



Laps were about 14 minutes per km 

Such is Dixie she is been barking lots and very anxious 😬 if anyone coming by.

Or driving by in that matter…


It sounds like you had a productive walk with Toby, despite starting a bit late! 1.75 km in 24 minutes is a nice pace, especially on a hot day. It's great that you enjoyed it! 


It's understandable that Dixie is feeling anxious with so much activity around. Sometimes dogs can be sensitive to noise and movement. Have you considered any calming techniques or distractions to help her feel more at ease during your walks?

Driving it’s a bit difficult 😣 to calm her down but while sitting out front she is a dog that will bark at Chemtrails from ✈️ jets.  So she’ll get pat on the head and rubbed good 😊 whistle at and hollered at.

 After seven weeks of setbacks and recovery, I laced up with Dixie and reclaimed my rhythm—3.64 km of steady effort, heart in the aerobic zone, and a reminder that progress starts with showing up. This afternoon, Dixie and I laced up and headed out for a run while the daylight was still holding on. It felt so good to be back out there after a bit of a break, moving at our own pace and enjoying the fresh air together. There’s something about running with Dixie that makes the effort lighter—her energy and joy keep me motivated, even when I’m easing back into the rhythm. Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

  Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin.
