Mamma Mia live performance 🎭

 Mamma Mia live play

Kim and I get to a mamma Mia live play, that Ben family invited us to.  We drive two hours and a half to get there. Ben and Andria take us out for dinner 🍽️ at Boston pizza πŸ• even help pay for our fuel ⛽️ the delight to see the theatre 🎭 was amazing. 🀩

Kim and I had a wonderful time with watching one of my favourite musical’s.  We made laughter and gasped and stood up and watched a live performance 🎭.

Ben and Andria bought us tickets 🎟️

Then got us water πŸ’§

Inside the gymnasium watching one of

The best shows done ☑️ spectacle of youth singing 🎡 and some of the most beautiful 🀩 happy πŸ˜ƒ music 🎢

I was in a delightful mood even with getting better from losing my voice over the weekend.

At first I thought πŸ’ it was going to be lip synced but it actually turned out to be sung with wonderful melody for Mamma Mia.

Ben and Andria know how to treat friends coming to watch theatre is one of the best birthday πŸŽ‚ gifts for Kim and I.

I’ve said it before but one day I’ll be laughing πŸ˜† cause I’ve watched it so much.  A couple times I was smiling tapping my feet πŸ‘£ and clapping along with the rhythm 🎢 of the evening.

Ben told me about the presentation six months ago in November and we were planning on making it up for a meeting πŸ“….

I had some good times with friends that I’ve known since I’ve been six years old.

One of the best presentations and there Mamma Mia made cookies πŸͺ out of a bakery that looked spectacular

On our way back we should be arrive home by midnight with a stop in our way to get pick me up wake up walk around the vehicle πŸš— and a breather.

It sounds like you and Kim had an absolutely wonderful time at the Mamma Mia live play! The effort and thoughtfulness from Ben and Andria truly made the experience special, from inviting you to dinner and paying for fuel to surprising you with tickets and water.

I'm glad to hear that the show brought joy even while you were recovering your voice. It must have been incredible to enjoy such a lively and inspiring performance, especially with friends you've known since childhood. The girls' singing and the joyful music sound like a fantastic spectacle!

Your description of the cookies from the bakery and the plans to stop for a breather on the way home add a cozy touch to your outing. It sounds like a truly memorable birthday gift and an outing filled with laughter, friendship, and good times.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Gratitude, Good Food, and Good Books

A Thanksgiving weekend of family meals, long walks, and reaching 86 books this year Bryan and I headed out for a walk after he returned from his sister’s Thanksgiving gathering, settling into a steady 30‑minute pace that carried us just under 2 km. The air was crisp with a light breeze, the kind of weather that makes movement feel effortless. I’ve always loved these cooler temperatures—my body doesn’t have to work as hard, and the transition from “easy mode” into a gentle warm‑up felt natural. Carrying 30 pounds with me added that extra layer of challenge, but it blended seamlessly into the rhythm of the walk. We paused at a park bench along the way, taking a moment to sit together before snapping a photo. That small break reminded me how these walks are as much about connection as they are about distance or weight carried. The combination of fresh air, conversation, and the grounding presence of the season made the outing feel restorative. It wasn’t just a walk—it was a reminder...
