One of the few weekends we get to spend together and we are in the riverside with our lemonade and ice cap.
Dixie never had a ball again in this riverside, so she was fully aware that we needed to pay attention to her, she whined the entire time. Need to remember a ball 🏀 this is the second trip there with no ball ⚽️
Kim and I made a game of calling her back to each of us, and trying to keep Dixie attention away from playing tug a war with another dogs stick it found as deadwood and jumping up on people is a Nono.
It was mission impossible but we managed to keep her listening enough til we left. We stayed there for 20 -30minutes and then came back up with not much issue besides not finding a poop 💩 when we looked in the spot in the grass and one of the three dog dirt bags that was empty floating to far away to get before we noticed it.
Two things that slightly made bad owners of us in the moment. Possible three if you think of forgetting the ball ⚽️
My keys fell in the water 💧. At one point I never 👎 notice. I’m sure they’ll be good. 😊
Dixie made good effort running back and forth for the majority of the time. And she was very attentive to us. Rubbing our chairs and legs and going under our legs

Over all it was a decent amount of time now we’re sitting out front and waiting for the dog to dry off.

We are just under DIESEL the dog 🐕 and just above Merlin.
For ranting in May we made it to rank 25. The last day to see our stats til a new June leaderboard is up.
We have pretty much made are active minutes for the day and we haven’t made it all week til today. Just been recuperating and doing some staycation cleaning and repairable stuff that was on the list.
A toilet 🚽 got fix and a sprinkler got fixed then some Linoleum is re stuck to the floor.
Well my brother did all of that, Kim and I just had to clean the house for it to happen.
Thankfully it went great 😊 and the house 🏡 management is doing great 😊. Or domestic duty I think it’s preferable to say now a-days.
Except with the sprinkler water break in here the air conditioning capacitor broke again it happen last year when the sprinkler broke so I’m thinking it’s the same issue as beforehand when it all went.
Fan not running and a slight humming noise.
My guess the water damage from it.
So we are AC free lately and trying to keep the house cooler.

Your staycation seems productive with home repairs—fixing the toilet, fixing the sprinkler, and restocking items. Kudos to your brother for handling the repairs! It’s understandable that the water damage affected your air conditioning, especially with the capacitor breaking again. Hopefully, it’s a quick fix once you get a technician to look at it.
In the meantime, keeping the house cooler without AC can be tricky, but using fans, closing blinds, or opening windows during cooler parts of the day might help.
