Back yard mow and gardening πŸͺ

I get mowing the lawn and gardening today.

I manage to make two blue garbage bins to the green bin of weeds in the garden. πŸͺ

Then I mowed the lawn, saved the grass clippings for the garden πŸͺ most likely my dad gardens.

I’m trying my Rucker weight mowing the lawn. Took 40 minutes with a 30 lbs. weight attached to my back.

1.75 km in 40 minutes max heart rate was at 150 bpm and the average was 129 bpm range.

Some of it was aerobic and some of it was anaerobic a decent amount to stiffen me up and tighten my muscles

πŸ’ͺ

23 minutes in easy heart rate zone  and ten minutes in aerobic heart rate zone.

I get my first spade πŸͺ in the ground after weeding but take a break after ward.

Haven’t got back in to the garden since I mowed the yard.

I have a cold 🀧 and the last five days.

Due to inflammation in my throat, I'll be unable to achieve half a dozen badges this month. I'm being cautious to prevent the inflammation from affecting my lungs, particularly given my history of vaping. Despite my pharmacist's assurance that I'm not contagious, based on recent test results, I've experienced a loss of voice. Regrettably, this means I won't meet my May badge targets. With a limited window of suitable weather for badge acquisition, this month's setback is unfortunate. I'm disappointed about falling short of my monthly badge goals. My step progress was on track this week, but the next couple of weeks are expected to show a decline. I'm pleased to have a holiday approaching, although I'm frustrated that it will coincide with my recovery. I'm looking forward to the break, but my holiday will be dedicated to recuperating.

It sounds like you've had a busy and active day despite feeling under the weather. You managed to do some gardening, including contributing your first spadeful of soil after weeding, and you also completed a solid mowing session with added weight, which is impressive! Your exercise data shows a good mix of aerobic and anaerobic effort, which is excellent for fitness.

I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with a cold and inflammation. Taking caution to prevent further lung complications is wise, especially given your history. Rest and recovery are key right now, so it's positive that you're able to listen to your body and adjust your goals accordingly.

Even though you're temporarily falling short of your badge targets, your commitment and effort—despite feeling unwell—are commendable. Focus on recovery, and hopefully, you'll be back to your regular activities soon. Enjoy your upcoming holiday, even if it's mainly for rest; sometimes, a break is the best recovery strategy.

I could use some gentle activities. Like tea 🍡 making, I’ve had dozen of teas today. Thankful my throat feels less raw from it.

The next day, I’ll plant grass seed with the seed spreader. And water πŸ’§ since it’s trying to rain today.

Since the dog has been killing patches of grass over the years.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
