Lethbridge Rucker Walking 🚢‍♂️

Dixie and I go for an hour walk carrying a 30lbs weight in a back pack.

It might seem I’m giving my friends heck for not walking enough but walking with 30 lbs on my back pack slowed my step count right down.  I πŸ˜‰ enjoyed the walk, 30 lbs is a lot of weight believe it.  I was debating whether to get another 30 lbs weight to walk with double but it’s actually quite a load to walk with one 1️⃣ weight.

An easy walk my average heart rate was 114 bpm. And now burn 382 calories on the walk. A max bpm at 139

My average pace is 16:52 per km

I stopped at my parents for an ice cream sandwich and water πŸ’§ kept on walking 🚢‍♂️

30 lbs is actually a significant Handicap.

I could feel it in my legs 🦡 and feet  πŸ‘£ and back.

Do next time you say jungling around 30 lbs is easy, putting a case iron plate of 30 lbs weights in a back pack is the easiest way to relate.  I slowed right down, hopefully I’ll be a better friend and go at more of a reasonable pace with this and burn more calories as well.

52 days quit smoking. That’s 82 days this year. Yahoo.

Still doing he non smoking 🚬

Hi there! It sounds like you had a really purposeful walk with a good workout challenge, carrying that 30 lbs backpack. It’s impressive how much of an impact the extra weight has on your pace and effort—it definitely adds a real sense of resistance and strength training to your walk. I admire your dedication, especially celebrating 52 days without smoking—that’s a fantastic achievement!

Walking with added weight like that can be a great way to build strength and endurance, though it’s wise to listen to your body to avoid overexertion. If you’re thinking of adding more weight, maybe consider gradually increasing it or switching to different types of exercise for variety and to prevent strain.

Mmm πŸ€”

A good pace and a good 😊 walk

Cheering for you all on your fitness journeys.

I’m still in the lead for my step count for the week. And two days left of the challenge.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants πŸ‘– from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs πŸ•. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...
