Mamma Mia live performance 🎭

Mamma Mia live play Kim and I get to a mamma Mia live play, that Ben family invited us to.  We drive two hours and a half to get there. Ben and Andria take us out for dinner 🍽️ at Boston pizza πŸ• even help pay for our fuel ⛽️ the delight to see the theatre 🎭 was amazing. 🀩  Kim and I had a wonderful time with watching one of my favourite musical’s.  We made laughter and gasped and stood up and watched a live performance 🎭. Ben and Andria bought us tickets 🎟️  Then got us water πŸ’§  Bottles with Mamma Mia  Inside the gymnasium watching one of The best shows done ☑️ spectacle of youth singing 🎡 and some of the most beautiful 🀩 happy πŸ˜ƒ music 🎢  I was in a delightful mood even with getting better from losing my voice over the weekend. At first I thought πŸ’ it was going to be lip synced but it actually turned out to be sung with wonderful melody for Mamma Mia. Ben and Andria know how to treat friends coming to watch theatre is one of the best...

Kim and I go Rucker Walking 🚢‍♂️

Kim and I start out a 3.5 km walk start of May long weekend Friday afternoon  There was frost this morning and lots of fog in the river bottom but up on top of the coulee there was no fog. 🌫️  A decent walk, over by the iconic Sunridge Bridge 🌁.  I am well above my weekly exercise for relative effort each week for my exercise routine  The exercise is decent I feel it in my stomach the most, or it could just be I’m hungry 🀀  Plus 10 Celsius for a walk. No for real though my abs are tight from walking with 30 lbs around the park. 3.5 km in 55 minutes 351 calories later my average heart rate was 121 bpm average, my max was 138 bpm. Kim says she likes my pace with the weight cause it slows me down to every two steps of hers I do one so she feels she can keep up better.  Average pace per km was 15:44 minutes. Not bad I figure. Going to try to relax and watch a movie tonight with Kim. Strava says I was mostly in the endurance zone for most the exercisin...

Lethbridge Rucker Walking 🚢‍♂️

Dixie and I go for an hour walk carrying a 30lbs weight in a back pack. It might seem I’m giving my friends heck for not walking enough but walking with 30 lbs on my back pack slowed my step count right down.  I πŸ˜‰ enjoyed the walk, 30 lbs is a lot of weight believe it.  I was debating whether to get another 30 lbs weight to walk with double but it’s actually quite a load to walk with one 1️⃣ weight. An easy walk my average heart rate was 114 bpm. And now burn 382 calories on the walk. A max bpm at 139 My average pace is 16:52 per km  I stopped at my parents for an ice cream sandwich and water πŸ’§ kept on walking 🚢‍♂️  30 lbs is actually a significant Handicap. I could feel it in my legs 🦡 and feet  πŸ‘£ and back.  Do next time you say jungling around 30 lbs is easy, putting a case iron plate of 30 lbs weights in a back pack is the easiest way to relate.  I slowed right down, hopefully I’ll be a better friend and go at more of a reasonable pace w...

Exercise to Midnight πŸ•›

I get running with Dixie and lifting weights πŸ‹️‍♀️ til midnight πŸ•› after working and evening shift The run πŸƒ‍♂️ was good 😊, only some deer 🦌 took a charge at us so we ran out on university and then back to the path again. Lucky it was in-between traffic breaks. Not much traffic at that hour. A shorter base run that it was asking for, it wanted me To do 50 minutes worth of running and I just didn’t want to run πŸƒ‍♂️ then. I made it shorter than expected. Run time was 16 minutes walking was 7 and a half minutes. My max heart rate is 162 bpm and average was 138 bpm. 12 minutes in aerobic and 11 minutes in easy. 23 seconds in threshold. An enjoyable exercise feel way better after. Made two frozen pizzas πŸ• after the weights and run. πŸƒ‍♂️ at it at 12:15 in the morning  Strength training for 30 minutes total time. Work out time was 14 minutes and resting was 16 minutes Max heart rate was 153 bpm my average for weights was 134 bpm  Total amount of reps was 178 and 16 sets...

A PR in a 10 k run πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I do a PR in a my first 10 K The dog πŸ• and I sharing a water πŸ’§ bottle while the sun ☀️ shined hard. I got a PR on my longest run and one ☝️ on 10k. Now I’ve done hikes before that were longer but I also was at least 20 years younger when I was doing it. 😊 I was close to my garmin prediction for 10k at 1:47 total time in January but now my five kilometre is way down to 32 minutes to finish for a prediction. Now doing it is sure to come on my time off if really like to do five kilometres in 35 minutes to be most average male times for 5 km is 37 minutes.  I have yet to do it. My best five km is 39 minutes. A quick google search changes numbers regularly. I thought it was 37 but it says 34 minutes… We were sitting at lots of benches πŸ™† stretching. The coulee looks very yellow not it usually very green it does but it’s still early I suppose. Kellogg’s says there something therapeutic about an easy 10 kilometre run πŸƒ‍♂️ and that’s what I accomplished today. Didn’t w...
