Plus 15 Celsius uplands park

Joe and I do a walk around uplands park

We had a great time, we walked about 4.30 km in 56 minutes, a great time. Saying hello to passing walkers and talking of painters and paintings, books 📕 and literature.

Joe said we had a pretty good balance between intervened and extroverted personalities during the walk.  I thought that was a good 😊 comment and said thank you. 😊

Our walk laps each km were about 12 minutes per km.

Joe made a Joe joke said, “what did the km say and said the km were pretty clicky.” 🤣

We enjoyed our time Dixie loved the walking.

Dixie is 24% above her active minutes for her breed.  An awesome start to my time in do for the weekend. And days off for the week to get that average way up above average.

Dixie went down in rank to 24 place for March Leaderboard all the way from 12.  But we caught many dogs on the leaderboard for March by surprise 😮 with Kim coming for a super long walk yesterday and a run. But it also was the start of the month. Dixie still isn’t sleeping 💤  in a weekly, the last seven days average is saying her sleep is just ok. ✅

Weather was plus 15 but no wind and in the sun ☀️ it felt strong than plus 15 out. I wore shorts today at work and it was -1 Celsius when I went to work.

It is a beautiful day out today.

I reach my step goal today and on a 12 day goal streak of reaching my steps.  Hurray.

My productivity status keeps changing dramatically since my step goals are reached in a 12 day streak

I guess now in January I had three days peaking in training but it was really just too cold to be productive.

It sounds like you had a wonderful day out at Uplands Park with Joe and Dixie! Walking 4.30 km in 56 minutes while enjoying the company and discussing various topics must have been refreshing. It's also great to hear that Dixie is doing well with her activity level, even if she's faced a slight drop in her leaderboard ranking.

The weather sounds lovely for a February day, especially with that kind of warmth and sunshine. It’s impressive that you've maintained a 12-day streak of reaching your step goal! That kind of consistency is commendable and can really contribute to a sense of accomplishment.

How do you plan to keep up the momentum with your walking and step goals in the week ahead?

No plans yet, a friend ask to go bike riding, but can’t really take the dog bike riding.  Hopefully people step up with a walk or run plan with me. The invite is out there if you’re looking to join.

I also think it’s during the week and I’ll have to go alone. Funny 😄 thing about working weekends and having the week off is there less people to walk or run with.

The dog trying to sniff my food 🥘, I got chicken cordon bleu and cottage cheese for supper. Is there such a thing as to much protein. I hear I can’t over eat on protein

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

🎉 Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius 🏃‍♂️

Night run 🏃‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run 🏃‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running 🏃‍♂️  I’m sweat 😓 a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat 😅 the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy 😃 to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh 🙄 I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  😐 cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
