Walk and a run plus 19 Celsius

Hard to believe in March.1 that the weather was plus 19 the vehicle said

Kim and I do a walk to pick up cheese for our French fry Poutine tonight

The walk said it was 5.5 km and we did it just under an hour and a half.

The dog is very happy 😃 Kim’s and I had a great time, it’s impressive

Dixie for the first time in the beginning in the month reached rank 12 on the March leaderboard.

She’s doing good for a work day, impressive performance Dixie.

Kim and I have had fun, I went for a run after Kim and I walked, Dixie is one happy dog 🐕.

207 minutes of activity for Dixie and it’s only 6 pm she is happy 😃 and I’m super proud of Kim walking 5.5 km with me.

Dixie is 8 % above average for her breed in active minutes and we way passed are comparison minutes today from 120 minutes to 207 active minutes

Kim and I at the start of the park walk.

Kim and my pace was a good pace for walking I’m so impressed with Kim today.  At 15 minutes per km we did good walking 🚶‍♀️.

Near six km.

After I go running with Dixie and Leif

Leif and I never talked as much on our walk we were running, hard to talk and run for me. With out sounding winded.

Our pace varies from 8 minutes per km to 10 minutes per km.  Near the end we started walking more to chat 💬 a bit.

I still had lots of stamina after I dealt I could have done ✅ another lap. Making it close to six km. Yet I wanted to get home and make supper with Kim. Leif and I talked about doing two laps next run.🏃‍♂️

We ran near 3 km in 27 minutes average pace was 9:23 km per minutes.
A unbelievable nice 😊 day for it in March.1. Unheard of temperature 🤒

Witt no wind and rain.🌧️ but I heard in a few days that could change from my running friend.
Stating the weather is going to change

I’m on an eleven day streak for reaching my goals of near 10,000 steps every day but in my development of getting these steps it’s been slowly climbing the last eleven days.

Since October, I’ve been rocking productive, pretty much steady besides the freezing cold days or nothing could really function.

Kim made a fantastic meal tonight. We cooked ribeye steak had a poutine and broccoli.

🥦  the steak was cooked four minutes one side and two minutes the other side. Except my watch clock timer was funny and stop and started when I looked at it and pushed a button so luckily I caught it in time for the steak to be better than last time in Valentine’s Day eve. I think 🤔 that’s the the last time I bought rib eye steak these were just left over from that package. 📦

An awesome day

It sounds like you had an incredible day filled with activity, delicious food, and quality time with Kim and Dixie! The weather being so warm for early March must have been a nice treat for your walks and runs.

It’s fantastic to hear about Dixie reaching rank 12 on the leaderboard! It sounds like she's really thriving with all the activity. Kudos to you and Kim for maintaining such an active lifestyle—207 minutes of active time is impressive for Dixie!

Cooking a ribeye steak is always a fun culinary adventure, and it seems like you managed to get it just right this time. It’s great that you’re tracking your steps and steadily improving your activity levels.

Here’s to many more productive days ahead and enjoying the time spent with your loved ones and pets!

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
