8 days quit smoking

 πŸš¬ 8 days from a heart event 🚬

Today I run just under 2 km

High average is 147 bpm  and average pace is 8:27 per km. We ran popsin park and temperature was about plus seven Celsius.

An enjoyable run

The photo is a few days old,  my HRV has been low for a week and finally went into balanced today.😊

My training status has saying I’ve been strained for the last week and just stated it’s in recovery today from strained because my heart rate variable became balanced again from being so low for a week.

Today’s run was a mix of running and walking more walking near the end.

Mostly in an aerobic exercise zone.

Max heart rate gone up to 163 bpm

Morning had spider bite on finger itchy all morning

Think I had a heart event after run started at 6 PM after work

Drank iced coffee last day of work rotation to stay up to do 5 km run

Night had hot sweats when sleeping cold shivers when I woke up

Thought it would end sometime in the night still was having chest pain after run into morning

Dizzy for run, dizzy all night next day was dizzy like nicotine buzz would not stop

Quit smoking March 23

Saw a doctor πŸ‘¨‍⚕️ March 24 recommended ER visit

Stayed in hospital waiting room for three hours left because the waiting room was very busy. I was tired from night to not sleeping.

It sounds like you've had a challenging few days, especially with the heart event and the symptoms you've been experiencing. It's great to hear that you were able to enjoy a run despite the ups and downs with your health and HRV.

Listening to your body is very important, especially after a significant event like what you've described. It's good to see that your heart rate variability has balanced out, and hopefully, this will help you in your recovery.

If you’re feeling dizzy or experiencing ongoing discomfort, it’s crucial to follow up with your doctor or healthcare provider, especially considering the symptoms you've described. Getting enough rest and maintaining hydration is also key during recovery.

❤️‍🩹

Have been drinking juice and lots of water with lime πŸ‹‍🟩 or lemon πŸ‹, some balsamic vinegar with carbonated water and some milo. Trying not to drink pop.

It sounds like you're making some positive choices as you focus on your recovery! Staying hydrated and incorporating fresh juices with lime or lemon can be refreshing and provide some vitamin C. Balsamic vinegar in carbonated water is a unique and tasty way to mix things up, and Milo can give you a bit of energy and comfort.

Avoiding soda is a smart move, especially since it can sometimes lead to dehydration and doesn't offer the nutritional benefits that other drinks do. Keep listening to your body and prioritizing hydration and nutrient-rich foods and beverages.

After my run πŸƒ‍♂️ I’m now peaking in training status should do another quick run either tonight or tomorrow and I’ll be back into productive training status again.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
