Plus 5 Celsius and Henderson walk

Toby and I go for a walk

The dog 🐕 got her walk and I got a walk after work, destress the house tonight for being at home. 🏡

Afterword I was getting a bit frustrated and had to eat something pretty quickly cause after a full day of work being out up at five and then I walk afterwards I got hungry pretty fast.

A pleasure to walk with someone for a change,  after work I take a walk with a friend

I forgot to start my walk on my watch so we probably walked at least 3 km. In about 40 minutes, I say.

Although 10 minutes didn’t get counted for our walk we could’ve done easily probably 3.4 km for what was tracked.😊

Dixie is climbing on the leadership board for January

Dixie is now ranked 27th for the leadership board for January

Only 6% above her breed right now, but I’m on my days off now so I’m hoping to catch that up with a few runs

Not quite the active minutes I wanted today, but I couldn’t get into me a second lap.

At home and the sun is just coming down at 5:15 tonight and it’s 536. They say the temperature was 5°C, but felt a lot warmer today. I’ve been in a T-shirt all day working.

A photo on the other side of the lake we took two photos on each side of the lake. I think this one turned out a little bit better cause we’re looking into the sun rather than the camera looking into the sun.

☀️

I’m also very happy 😃 the sun is finally shining, Toby and I saw our shadow this day and talk folklore, saying it’s always better to trust your weather network☝️

It sounds like you and Toby had a lovely day! Walking with Dixie must be a great way to unwind after a long day of work. It’s impressive that she’s climbing the leadership board—27th place is quite an achievement!

It’s understandable to feel a bit frustrated after a busy day, especially with a long work schedule. It seems like you managed to make the most of your evening with some exercise and time outdoors. The weather sounds nice, especially for January.

It’s great that you took some photos at the lake too! Looking into the sun often makes for more beautiful lighting in photos. 😊

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Plus 12 Celsius Smoke run 🏃‍♂️

The dog and I decided to do either a 3 km run or a 6 km run or 9 km run hoping for 10 km but I couldn’t find the energy to push further. It is smoky out there you could smell it and breath it in. Made me in my threshold if I keep a higher pace than 9 minutes km Cooler morning,  I went and got a sausage homestyle biscuit from Tim’s and an ice coffee ☕️  Just getting my day started. I got a doctors appointment later today over the phone 📞 also. Hoping to take the dog 🐕 for a run 🏃‍♂️ this morning but I’m stiff. So hopefully my coffee stop warms me up to get moving this morning. Or just caffeinates me. We managed to do 6.05 km in about 59 minutes. A high heart rate of 172 bpm and an average of 144 bpm. Plus 12 Celsius while I ran but I was in full sweating 😅 by the time I got home 🏡. The last couple weeks I’ve had a low relative effort due to some family losses. But I manage to get out on a smoky day like today for a run. 🏃‍♂️  It’s been raining heavily the last...

A fawn born on our yard

A baby fawn was born on our lawn and it’s trying to warm up in the asphalt I’m guessing it’s still warm. We’re trying to give it space hopefully it mother comes by so we’re staying inside. I just went outside for a smoke and it crawled under the vehicle 🚗 lots of people are walking by it not noticing it then others are stopping.  Quite the thing to see. A few hours old… it’s still wet with mucus on it. With Kim’s super camera zoom is we could see Fish and wild life say to call in 24 hours if animals are left by moms  So we’re hoping people leave the fawn alone.  Although it’s a super cool 😎 thing to see. I think it hoofs are still soft from being born that’s why it’s staying put since it went on that hard surface till it’s hoofs Harden. It crawled on its knees after the side walk and just hunkered down for a bit. Two hours from first spotting.  Still there hiding under the vehicle 🚗 it kind of a good spot of course there’s better picked spots but it’s half and hal...
