Month of rain in two days

Hey a walk after a month worth of rain in two days

The grass trees đŸŒŗ are popping out green foliage is everywhere that rain and humidity sure got the green house 🏡 gases warming up.  It feels great out side at the moment.

River sure shot up this week with all the rain before the river was a good yard or few from river bank.

After our walk we pick up a coffee I take my jacket off and we sit in the shade. It hot đŸĨĩ outside, I got to mow my grass that takes about 1 hour and twenty minutes.

We walk for almost fifty minutes and do two laps. Me met Elsa and Bambi and another animal that was not that after Charlie in the peanuts đŸĨœ show/comic.

She was nice lady and stop

To say hi.👋

Dixie is doing good but two days of rain she didn’t want to walk in it. And her activity suffered from it looks like based on her seven day average.

Last night she got a great 😊 sleep.

💤

She is a happy 😃 dog.

Yesterday she had no day sleep 💤 and might of

Been restless đŸ˜Ŧ why she got a good 😊 sleep 💤 today.

Below her average calm of 1/2 hour she got even less than that based on her average.

We are getting to mid range and just averaging in active minutes. I’ve been so busy with work, it’s hard to get my full hour in of walking to get active minutes with her.

Todays talk around ethnomethodology and the books 📚 I’ve read on.

This is the book 📕 I read and a bit about it, ages ago I read this author rewrote durkhiem aphorism and was a popular read back in the day.  So I picked it up. Reminded me of The musician, Simon & Garfunkel and it was published around the same time as them so was it mirroring or reflecting of the craziness back then any way the book struck a nerve to read and I was impressed. I might have to read it again. Cause it change many a thought back then.

It sounds like you had a lovely walk and encounter with Elsa, Bambi, and the other animal! It's always nice to meet friendly faces during walks. Dixie seems to be doing well too, especially after getting a good night's sleep. It's good to hear she's happy and back to her usual self.

It seems like you've been quite busy with work, making it a bit challenging to get your full hour of walking in. That's understandable with everything going on. Balancing work and personal time can be tricky, but it's great that you still make time for walks with Dixie.

As for the book you mentioned on ethnomethodology, it's interesting to hear about your thoughts and connections to it. Books that leave a lasting impression are always worth revisiting, especially if they had a significant impact on your perspective. Revisiting it might bring back some insightful memories and perhaps new insights too.

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees đŸŒŗ there are gone from beavers, đŸĻĢ the other area got fe

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has the cone of shame, and she wants water this mo

September. 2, 3, 4, and 5 river, trailer fun

I go into the river in my short speedo It got to be a hot đŸĨĩ day and I jump in the river with the dog. 🐕 Dixie got quite excited when she saw me get in my swim suit. Heading to the riverbank she was jumping up badly. At one point when I lied down in the river she pounced on my belly. Today was scorching hot, reaching up to 35°C, and I definitely felt the heat! I took a trip to the river, where I noticed the rocks were much cleaner upstream compared to Lethbridge. The water was clear and the rocks weren’t covered with that slimy buildup that usually accumulates downstream. It seems like the agricultural runoff from the mountains might contribute to this difference as the river flows toward Lethbridge. Dixie had an absolute blast, bursting with energy and thoroughly enjoying her time outdoors. It was a joy to see her revel in her own little world while we explored the campground. She's such a well-behaved companion, truly making our adventure memorable. Although I didn’t get a sho
