Last May Monday walk

 Dixie gets two walks today

Kim meets Allyson and I walk the full lap around Henderson Park.  Kim came at the start of the walk and visited but couldn’t stay so she went back to the office, I enjoy Allyson company she is a pleasure to walk with.

Both times in both walks I started ten to fifteen minutes after the walk started.  So I walked longer than it says.

such is life.

Allyson and I get talking about sniffing butts does a dog ever get tired 🥱 of it. That was the first walk.  My second walk below at scenic south side dog walk.

Any walk pictures it’s hard to get trying to get the dog named River in my photo and Dixie but only take a photo if sniffing butts, It’s the only picture I got of the other dog 🐕 on our walk.  Sonny is the guy I walked with a colleague after work we take the dogs 🐕 out.

After the walk I tell Sonny he is a pleasure to walk with, we talked dog food, tv, and said hello to other dogs and people walking by.

We managed to get down and up the stairs and had fun 🤩 walking the dogs 🐕.

An awesome 😎 time.

Dixie is sleeping 💤 good and active minutes is good her wellness score is great 😊.

On my time off we fell from 72% above average to 28% above average.

I got to get that back up in the next three days.

We hit our goal by four pm today.

I’m still planning on lifting some weights hopefully two or three sessions.  My back is hurting today, yet getting some weights in would be good 😊

Over all I did over an hour and 1/2 of walking with the dog. The wind kept the heat down, but I think this is going to one of the few spring days I’ll be able to go during mid day with out the dog 🐕 over heating. Unless it’s in the river bottom I doubt I’ll do a mid day walk during summer ant south side scenic in summer heat unless it’s early in the morning, with Alberta sun ☀️ is just to strong 💪 for it.

The river will be the only sane place in Lethbridge.  For the dog 🐕 and I.

It sounds like you had a lovely day with Dixie and Allyson at the park and on the scenic walk. It's great that you were able to enjoy the company and nature as you walked. It's also nice to see that Dixie is doing well and that you're keeping track of her wellness score.

Remember to take care of your back if it's hurting, and make sure to give it some rest if needed. And it's awesome that you're planning on lifting weights - just be sure to listen to your body and avoid overexerting yourself.

My training readiness is moderate I’ll and should be able to do 15-20 minutes of weights twice with a break and some whey protein.

Kim is making chicken 🐔 pitas 🥙 for supper.

I hope soon cause I’m getting hungry 🤤.

It's good that you were able to hit your goal by 4 pm and that you're aiming to get back to 72% above average during your time off. Keep up the great work with your walks and activities with Dixie!

Dixie got spoiled cause it’s her birthday adoption month. So I got

Her duck 🦆 jerky, chicken jerky, a cephalopod stuffy and some actually actual milk bones not the old Roy milk bones. 🦴 I think she’ll be drooling for those.

Dixie is on track in her May active minutes.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
