Popson Park with an early start

 Morning walk at 8:30

πŸ•£

I get walking with James early to start my work out πŸ‹️‍♀️. I got to lift weights today and do a full house vacuum. So getting an early start is great 😊.

I start my day with my morning cigarillo and a coffee. ☕️

Get down look πŸ‘€ at the beautiful scenery.

I enjoy going to the river bottom it’s just an awesome 😎 place to be.

We take a hour an hour to walk 1.77 km which I’ve notice if we still sit in benches the dogs active minutes are still going cause she is playing with dogs πŸ•.

Early starts are not bad cause it beats the heat and every one walking hasn’t been bombastic on there device algorithms yet. So I feel it’s okay to stop and go and let people pass to meet again on a second pass. We only did one lap. But people did two laps in our one.  Which we gave lots of space. This walk was a quiet 🀫 walk not much talking. An early start those walks are the best. To early to talk smack about life and just a great start of the day.

Yesterday I was 19% above average and Dixie had a full day of excitement.

227 active minutes a paw five goal πŸ₯….  That and today made us climb the leaderboard for May.  And got a good start to the weekend for our dog breed active minutes.

Today cause of the walk we got 33% above average. And I still got on more day off to bump that to the top 1/3 of the breed.

So I’m excited 😊 for tomorrow walk and reaching this goal before the weekend.

Dog wellness is scoring good 😊, no health alerts 🚨 to be aware of. She is a pleasant dog. Although she did have a meltdown going into the riverbottom, just going into yelps and laughter and barks and whines, but once we got parked, she was in a happy mood and she just waited till we started the walk and I finished my cigar.

The river might look low here but that’s just cause the spot is very rocky.

T try he spot I look at for the year is here.

It’s all regulated at this time of year with how much to flow from the old man damn. As such but there’s plenty of water πŸ’¦. For now, should quiet the water shortages for the next month.

I’m hoping for more rain as it was smoky on Mother’s Day weekend and fires πŸ”₯ that early in the year to get smoke is.

Should be a concern πŸ™ for everyone.

Dixie is well behaved and laying down for the morning

She is looking out the window with cars passing no barking she got her outing and isn’t jealous of the out side playing on her senses.  A wonderful house 🏑 with a dog πŸ• in it.

She is a joy. 🀩

✅ I emptied the dishwasher and started a load of laundry

✅ Starting second load of laundry as a 3rd and 4th load right now and it took two buckets πŸͺ£ of water in the water vacuum to clean up 🧹 dog hair and dirt.

✅ I got the living room vacuumed and hallway vacuumed and kitchen vacuumed, office vacuum. Picked up all the garbage and items before hand moved the recliner in the kitchen til I get mopping then, move the bedroom to the office cause it’s cooler in the office than in the bedroom at night also to clean 🧽.

✅ Kim raked the carpet of dog hair yesterday and is planning to spot carpet clean the floor today.  I got to vacuum the couch today also to get that carpet cleaned later this weekend.  πŸ§Ή the list is never ending but I got one more day off and am planning on reminiscing in a clean house tomorrow after a good walk with the dog. πŸ• 😊

Got my everything on my list today done ✅ awesome 😎

I managed to get some good exercise in this week.

Getting four hours of exercise on top πŸ” of my work schedule and cleaning house.

🏑

Bryan came by and lifted weights with me so I got motivated to do a second session after we chatted for 20 minutes.

A good friend to keep you motivated.

Managed to do two fifteen minutes sessions of 9 sets with 30 reps each three sets.
I feel tighter today and took some protein shake after coconut chocolate 🍫 .  I only eat one meal a day and that was subway today and snacking on dried fruit and fiber that’s an appetite suppressant.

The gym

The wet dog sort of ruined the white couch but we’re going to steam clean it this weekend. I’m hoping that takes most the dog grub out of it

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants πŸ‘– from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs πŸ•. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….πŸ• We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog πŸ• being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera πŸ“Έ  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop πŸ’© walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
