Sunday Nov.3 scenic dog park

 Toby, Sonny, and I meet at the scenic dog park.


Sonny and Toby join me for a walk down at scenic dog park. I kept on looking over the dog, making sure she was good and looking for spots where she could’ve got snagged on a branch. I saw a few spots a branch snag could’ve done it..

Only times Dixie got on leash were…

Time dogs were getting intimidating with her, but most times she was off leash.



Since using my Garmin of rec recorded 200 walking’s.

An absolute journey to becoming a runner again. From like 25 years of smoking


So far I’ve done two base runs at 2.6 - 2.8 km All in 23 minutes.


Tomorrow off to do a 45 minute run that’s 5 km just five minutes short of Seeing my VO2 max but I’m just starting to train


Even on my rest days, I am still walking, making sure I’m making activity minutes with the dog and myself. It’s a pleasure to have people to walk with and Sonny and Toby did a great job of caring the conversation as we walked….


Both were a real pleasure to be with Dixie.


Dixie loves her time in. She’s still 20% above her breed for active minutes.


Although she slowing down for active minutes the last couple days, I haven’t brought her on my runs cause she’ll stop and smell and poop and not have to pick it up so I was just be too much interruption for my runs.



Sleep is good 😊 seeing some interruptions other than that she’s doing a good job getting her sleeping. πŸ’€

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

  πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

  Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life.
