Joe and Fort Whoop Up

Joe and I walk fort whoop up.

Here we are trying to photograph a pheasant in the bushes☺️,

We walk a few laps chatting and enjoying the plus 18 Celsius weather outside, the van said it got up to 22 Celsius positives.

Beautiful 🤩 weather.  The dog 🐕 loved the walk.

We had a great time see deer 🦌 and enjoying talking of books we’re reading.

We walk 2 km I forgot to start it right away so we never 👎 tracked the first part of our walk.

Joe giving a fair well in parting.  Joe is awesome 😎 and fun guy to walk with.  I enjoyed the time after work. 😌

Dixie even was impressed, and happy 😃 to go for the walk. Also eager to go and visit with walking.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

A fawn born on our yard

A baby fawn was born on our lawn and it’s trying to warm up in the asphalt I’m guessing it’s still warm. We’re trying to give it space hopefully it mother comes by so we’re staying inside. I just went outside for a smoke and it crawled under the vehicle 🚗 lots of people are walking by it not noticing it then others are stopping.  Quite the thing to see. A few hours old… it’s still wet with mucus on it. With Kim’s super camera zoom is we could see Fish and wild life say to call in 24 hours if animals are left by moms  So we’re hoping people leave the fawn alone.  Although it’s a super cool 😎 thing to see. I think it hoofs are still soft from being born that’s why it’s staying put since it went on that hard surface till it’s hoofs Harden. It crawled on its knees after the side walk and just hunkered down for a bit. Two hours from first spotting.  Still there hiding under the vehicle 🚗 it kind of a good spot of course there’s better picked spots but it’s half and hal...

Bryan and I ride 21 km plus 20 Celsius

Bryan and I ride for 21 km’s A cooler day than other days so Bryan and I cycle through Lethbridge. I manage to do three PR’s today (personal records) And won a badge for climbing 500 feet. 👣  Here we are at chinook lake, on the north side of Lethbridge. I was mostly in the aerobics zone for my cycle a bit of threshold and easy cycling 🚴‍♂️ also. Averaging speed 13.7 km/hr Max speed 43.7 km/hr Move time was an hour and a half but with breaks and bench sits it was two hours. Bryan in front of the wolf 🐺 statues. Back at Bryan’s place taking a breath from cycling over to Bryan’s house 🏡  The hill was a bit difficult 😞 but I manage to make it up.  My laps are here below and my relative effort this week shot way up for the trip. Made my week better, I thought I was going to be below my relative effort and not make my weeks score.  Yet I’m way above average for my score. Looking over the river valley and taking a break at a bench. Wow, it sounds like you and Br...
