Personal record 4km in 34 minutes

Toby and I are running in Popson park.

Making my personal record for the longest running I’ve done yet with my Garmin watch.  I felt pretty good. I’m gonna share my stats if you’re curious what a Garmin looks like in the stats it gives for running..

πŸƒ‍♂️

The pace I got was the around the goal of 8.5 minutes/km.

Says I could’ve gone around 60% longer than what I had done though really breaking my stamina and my watch saying I could do more is a great message.  I felt great so did Toby. Our faces were a little red because of the burst of endorphins and the running.  Got a little quiet on the ride back just enjoying the moment of achieving the goal of running. For 34 minutes.

My max heart rate was 167 bpm And my VO2 max is increasing so that’s a great feeling.

For people, wondering how much information is given on garmin for stats, garmin stats are quite incredible. It was great motivation for Toby to join me on my run. I felt like I could do it a lot more than a smaller runs by myself. Really appreciate a run with Toby and with Dixie. Great 😊 motivation

So far the dog is leading Leaderboard in November for 27th rank.  She’s 23% above her dog breed. She’s doing good about to get some kibble and some supper. I’m waiting for Kim to get home so I can have supper with her.

We’ve even talk about working our way up to a marathon.  Hope you happy to get more personal records

It sounds like you had an amazing run with Toby! Achieving a personal record is always a great feeling, especially when you're pushing yourself and noticing improvements in your stamina and VO2 max. It's fantastic to hear that both you and Toby enjoyed the experience and that you’re using it as motivation to potentially work up to a marathon.

Having a supportive running buddy can make a big difference, and it’s great to see how much motivation you derive from running together. Also, congratulations to Dixie for her impressive leaderboard rank! It seems like you all have a wonderful routine going.

Best of luck with your future runs and goals, and I hope you enjoy supper with Kim! Keep pushing towards those personal records! πŸƒ‍♂️πŸ’ͺ

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
