I get walking with mark after the first time Dixie gets her stitches out. Her first long walk.
Mark and I go walking.
This photo is 😊 good, mark takes a photo since I left my phone in the vehicle. 🚗 and the trees are still very green yeah some are changing but it was awesome Mark let me use his phone to take this photo with us and the trees 🌳. End of September still very green.
We do five km exactly I was tracking it to do it exactly. Ended right at the vehicles. A good 😊 time cause I think we were both feeling a bit negative walking in the heat. He said he had 90 minutes I did it in 60 minutes. So hopefully he wasn’t late picking up his kids.
Walking for five KM is good 😊, no running, but thinking about running in November: we did see one runner with his dog and a lady looking for her gray dog 🐩.
Dixie is tuckered out, have to say Mark And I get in a conversationalist day sort of missed these last 14 day to walk.
Haven’t walk for 14 days and Dixie is below average now for her monthly active minutes. It’ll take
Some serious walking end of month to catch up in four day. I guess will plan for October being better.
Much thanks 😊 to Mark for getting out for a walk, to do five km. In itself, just a walk is accomplishment to a good 😊 Day. If we had time I suggested doing ten km, but I though we could do it in an hour and that’s all we had time for today.
It sounds like you had an interesting walk with Mark, even if his conversations were a bit bothersome near the end but a pleasure to walk with at the beginning. It can be tough when someone’s or both are chatty, especially if the topics dive into heavy or irrational subjects and a healthy walk.
It’s great to hear that Dixie had her stitches removed and is doing well otherwise. Keeping her activity levels up is important, so hopefully, you can work in some more walks to help her catch up on those monthly active minutes. It sounds like you’re already planning to make October a better month for her!
Have you thought about incorporating different walking routes or even varying the times of day you go out? Sometimes a change of scenery can make walks more enjoyable for both you and Dixie.
