Dixie loves raining days and getting dried off

After a walk we dry Dixie off

Taking time to dry Dixie off, it's good I spend the time to make Dixie feel some care and is important to be dried off and cared for.  She does such a good job 😀 standing still and leans into the towel also lifting her feet 🐾 staying in one position to be dried off.  She's a wonderful part of my day to take care of and keep her important after an amazing walk.

She runs up super happy to greet and just as quickly turns around and leaves after such an enthusiastic greeting she leaves and is gone walking and exploring with not so much as a worry about departing or a losing fallacy.

A happy dog, some would say we would need to bottle that energy up some way.

I get doing a lap around and Bryan drives to meet me at the park.  I do two laps Bryan does one lap with me.

In some countries or provinces like Alberta rain means prosperity.  Alberta gets so much sunshine ☀️ that when it rains ☔️ ones got to get out and enjoy 😉 it.

I get taking a better

Picture where I usually put up

My chair 🪑 in the river during summer months. To take a photo to see where the river is right now. A few people have stated how low the river is at this time of year.

So I took a quick camera shot at it and looked at how the river looked.

I’m

Happy 😊 Bryan decided for a walk and I enjoyed the time with him.  Bryan finally meets me it’s been awhile not walking with the guy in my days off.

We meet Izzy and blue I thought the dogs were called.  They’re also famously known in the Lethbridge heralds columnist and i was super happy I saw him walking his dogs today.

I’m a bit of a fan, of his articles and columnist, that often I wish I could go to journalism school.

I think it’s awesome 😎 to write ✍️ and read, I find it’s the highest pleasure one could rate in life.

And on a raining day down in popsin I’m rather to see if there will be an article on down in the river bottom.

Walking for 50 minutes with umbrellas ☔️ in a rain storm ⛈️ is one of my favourite things to do.  I wouldn’t say it was a storm more like a drizzle at time snow flakes would land but liquify as soon as it lands.

We sure have fallen in the leaderboard board for April, rank 29 but I’m sure I’ll get up more this time off.  Maybe not that 17 ranking I had earlier this month. Seems people were surprised 😮 Dixie got that high and they stepped up their walking game with the dogs cause during the weekends I sure fell behind cause I am working.

Over the weekend we become average again for our dog breed in steps but I’m hoping by Thursday will be above average.

How is Dixie lately is,

Doing well.  Her sleeping 💤 is good 😊 and her activity is good 😌.

So I’m glad 🙂 she’s is an amazing girl.

She is doing great 😊 in my opinion but good 😊 in my books is just as great as good 😊.

It sounds like you had a lovely walk with Bryan and Dixie, despite the rain! It's nice that you got to enjoy the outdoors and even took a photo to see the river's current state. Meeting Izzy and Blue must have been a pleasant surprise, especially if you're a fan of his columns.

Walking in the rain can be quite calming, and it's great to hear that Dixie is doing well with her sleeping and activity. It seems like you have a special bond with her. It's also impressive how dedicated you are to keeping track of your walking rankings and striving to improve.

Overall, it sounds like you had a fulfilling day despite the weather.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
