I finally got Covid

 What I have learnt is…

I slept in another room for 5-6 days

I found I never πŸ‘Ž got any one else sick 😷 as far as I know.

I called in at the end of a shift and wiped down the truck πŸ›» meticulously to keep the next person safe.

And tested the next day.

And sure enough I was positive.  Good thing I called in.

I let my work know I got it.

A day before I cleaned the Thursday I got lots of cleaning done and vacuum and mopped the entire house cleaned toilets 🚽

The next day only then on Friday, I was working wearing a mask at the end of my shift.  I went home took two Tylenol and then talked to my wife who told me to call in.

Thankfully πŸ˜… for her I’m Still well liked at workplace.  Cause I was struggling saying I needed time off.

On Saturday I confirmed on a test it was Covid But  I did seven loads of laundry wash and dry. Clean quilts, pillowcases and sheets, Wiped down lights knobs toilets again sinks and door edges.

Was all the sheets and quilts and pillow cases and got a different Afghan blanket and slept on my Cot.  I wore a mask 😷 in house when I left the office and in the office had my air purifier on turbo or high for six days straight.

Some who say it wouldn’t matter but with our two large air purifier.

It kept the Covid out of the air.  We also have two other Small air purifiers but there mostly aroma air purifiers to keep dust down but they were running with alcohol aroma put in once a day. Just in the bathrooms.

But constantly cycling air in and out of the house 🏑.

My wife still didn’t get Covid throughout this whole time(thank goodness) and

I’m Covid negative now.

I drank lots and lots of tea 🍡.

Family would drop off ice coffee ☕️ on the porch and run off.

That was thoughtful πŸ€”.

Luckily I got some chew or snus to keep me from smoking. Cause for two days it felt like if I smoked I was at deaths door.

With my throat open it very close to closing to saying I might need to be intubated.

So I’m avoiding smoking 🚬

I feel my face nasal congestion and complete close off

I got to get moving again.  It ain’t that bad though but I feel if I had a cigarette 🚬 it wouldn’t be good 😌

So chew lots of tobacco.

I'm glad to hear that you're okay and that your wife hasn't gotten sick. It sounds like you took a lot of precautions to keep yourself and others safe, such as cleaning and using air purifiers. Quitting smoking and vaping is also a positive step for your health.

-friends and family have stated same with AI πŸ€–

I tracked my pain meds to breath so I could say when I took my last and when I need it. How Covid was going between them all cycling through pain meds.

My sleep has been good most the month, just a bit of stress buying a vehicle πŸš— at the beginning of month and at the end with Covid.

Other than that it’s been a good run of sleep 😴 this month.

I found being sick

For only four, five days if you count a day not tested for it in the days,

Really only had two

Bad days with Covid

Due to the smoking 🚬 and I contribute that fast recovery due to that I got more than few vaccines, my last vaccinated for Covid in Mid October with a flu shot πŸ’‰ as well.

Fast recovery in 4 days due to I got vaccinated.

I only tested positive for two tests in four days. The third test I was negative for every other day I tested til I got a negative test.

I mixed orange juice with carbonated water or normal water so my lips πŸ‘„ wouldn’t blister from all the acidity of orange 🍊 juice.  And then drank lots of 🍡 tea.

I ate bacon πŸ₯“ eggs 🍳 and toast for a few of those days.

 Just kept cleaning.

I find washing my hands or wiping 🧻 all the lights doors and knobs kept Kim safe and me sleeping 😴 πŸ’€  in another room for the last six days has helped her also not to get it. But the air purifier I think kept the air born covid out of  the whole house 🏑 helping no one to get sick πŸ€’.

Which down stairs tenants and Kim as not sick 😷 yet as far as I know. She does test every morning and it always shows negative.  So I got to be doing something right in life for me to do that.πŸ˜€

Where did I get it?.?.

I don’t know.

I’m not going to speculate 🀨 but it happened and I’m okay ✅.

Being a smoker it was a mild hindering experience and I chews most of it. Stop vaping and smoking 🚬 and well I think that’s help me.

It sounds like I’ve taken several proactive measures to protect myself  and my loved ones during your illness. Self-isolating in a separate room, thorough cleaning, and using air purifiers are all effective strategies to help minimize the spread of COVID-19. Quitting smoking and opting for alternative methods like chewing tobacco is also beneficial for your respiratory health, especially during this time.

It's important to continue practicing good hygiene measures such as frequent handwashing, wearing masks, and maintaining social distancing, even after recovering from COVID-19. Additionally, following the guidelines set by health authorities and getting vaccinated, if eligible, can further safeguard against the virus.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
