River fun, Speedo riverside

 I walk down in a speedo to sit in the river for a couple hours.  With my Tilley hat 🎩.


Dixie kept rubbing up against me I had dog hair all over my legs 🦵 she was shedding bad this river time.



She kept dunking her own head in the water 💦 coming up and rubbing against me.  I had fun.  Some other dogs came down although never saw much of the owner. When I was waving my arms for Dixie to come he wave back. So I guess it’s a double waver.



Dixie and I are back home sitting 🪑 outside drying off. I going in for a bit to find this brush to get at least some of this hair off of this dog 🐕.

I think the birds would like it and Dixie would also like to lose the hair it seems. Only if the mag pies don’t nip her while she sleeps outside I think pulling the hair of and leaving it to blow in the wind 💨 a bird might find it.

I had a good time, every one was busy but I got Dixie out on my day off.  Which she needed it.

A photo of Dixie bring her toy back, I think I left the toy there now that I think about it. That’s another thing I’ll have to look 👀 for.

 A Thanksgiving weekend of family meals, long walks, and reaching 86 books this year Bryan and I headed out for a walk after he returned from his sister’s Thanksgiving gathering, settling into a steady 30‑minute pace that carried us just under 2 km.  After seven weeks of setbacks and recovery, I laced up with Dixie and reclaimed my rhythm—3.64 km of steady effort, heart in the aerobic zone, and a reminder that progress starts with showing up. This afternoon, Dixie and I laced up and headed out for a run while the daylight was still holding on. It felt so good to be back out there after a bit of a break, moving at our own pace and enjoying the fresh air together.
