River fun, Speedo riverside

 I walk down in a speedo to sit in the river for a couple hours.  With my Tilley hat 🎩.


Dixie kept rubbing up against me I had dog hair all over my legs 🦵 she was shedding bad this river time.



She kept dunking her own head in the water 💦 coming up and rubbing against me.  I had fun.  Some other dogs came down although never saw much of the owner. When I was waving my arms for Dixie to come he wave back. So I guess it’s a double waver.



Dixie and I are back home sitting 🪑 outside drying off. I going in for a bit to find this brush to get at least some of this hair off of this dog 🐕.

I think the birds would like it and Dixie would also like to lose the hair it seems. Only if the mag pies don’t nip her while she sleeps outside I think pulling the hair of and leaving it to blow in the wind 💨 a bird might find it.

I had a good time, every one was busy but I got Dixie out on my day off.  Which she needed it.

A photo of Dixie bring her toy back, I think I left the toy there now that I think about it. That’s another thing I’ll have to look 👀 for.

 After seven weeks of setbacks and recovery, I laced up with Dixie and reclaimed my rhythm—3.64 km of steady effort, heart in the aerobic zone, and a reminder that progress starts with showing up. This afternoon, Dixie and I laced up and headed out for a run while the daylight was still holding on. It felt so good to be back out there after a bit of a break, moving at our own pace and enjoying the fresh air together.   Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river.
