Nine pm walk with dog

 Walking late at night


Dixie is a bit stuck up.  I asked Kim if she fed Dixie and she ignored me til I put her food dish down. By then I decide that game idea Dixie was getting her food.


After she has a full belly and wants to walk. To smell all the smells and be a happy 😃 dog 🐶.



I’m walking and take a few photos. One at a gas station picking up my smokes.  Bad habits.


Dixie does one dog dirt although it was quite dark out and I could not see where some of it was I got most of it.


Late night walk, Dixie is happy 😃 I’m happy 😊 that Dixie is happpy.

Hopefully she makes it through the night with out asking to go outside again.  But I think she’ll really want a morning walk right away.


Four cups of kibble in a few hours. Hmm 🤔 


Any way we have a very affectionate 🤗 dog tonight.  She on cloud 9,

Late night walking 🚶‍♀️ lots of people where out walking there dogs 🐕 surprising I saw about ten couples or more walking.  Made me smile 😊 Dixie new she wanted to prowl the roadways tonight. I think she knows we have 4 more weeks of heat and 8 more weeks til frost. I think she would want to make the best of possible opportunities of weather.  Or that’s what I’m willing her to keep me motivated to go out more on more walkable times. Noon 🕛 is too hot for a dog unless your at the riverside.



Two walks done today each about an hour so two hours of walking.

 After seven weeks of setbacks and recovery, I laced up with Dixie and reclaimed my rhythm—3.64 km of steady effort, heart in the aerobic zone, and a reminder that progress starts with showing up. This afternoon, Dixie and I laced up and headed out for a run while the daylight was still holding on. It felt so good to be back out there after a bit of a break, moving at our own pace and enjoying the fresh air together. There’s something about running with Dixie that makes the effort lighter—her energy and joy keep me motivated, even when I’m easing back into the rhythm. At first, I thought about pushing myself to five kilometers, but I remembered the back pain I’ve been dealing with and decided to listen to the advice of my AI fitness coach: don’t overdo it on the first run back. Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

  Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin.
