Should we get another dog?

My friend has to part with his dog.

It be great for my blogging adding a rescue dog in cause of an allergic response. It be a great 😊 storyline

Just wanted to reach out because we are in need of a forever home for cooper asap.

A friends daughter blood work came back and she’s highly allergic.
We had a feeling it might’ve been him, but we were hoping not and actually got a call from the doctor last night saying she’s 17 points out of 20 and then confirmed her hives all over her body and constant itching for the last two years.

Anyways keep us in your prayers and if you guys can think of someone let us know

Thanks

😊

He is such a good dog. Loves cuddles and balls. Been trained in his early days by a professional they guarantee him to come back on a whistle. Doesn’t pee in the house doesn’t poo in the house but he is short hair so in the winter he can be a little bit chilly but we have dog coats, kennel, 2 Carhartt dog beds.dish. Winter coats winter bootees all the shit

He’s always been great with other dogs. You know how dogs get when they Wrestle sometimes they both get out of hand but it’s been fine

Radio silence on your side

Jordan, would be considering it not that we need another dog but I understand the dog

allergies thing a bit.

I am renting so I have to talk it over with my brother, also Kim and just see what's happening with cooper if we could possibly get another dog

It be fun to have another dog

,. Cooper looks great

just have many moving parts to talk it through.

Thanks for sharing your photos

Okay, sounds good! I would love to see him go to a loving home and if it was you it would make this process such a blessing to know he would have a friend to play with.

Ok thank you bye for now

The dog only has five-six more years left in it. It is ten years old now and usually the dogs only live 15 years

It’s sort of a rescue πŸ›Ÿ if it’s got to go cause of an allergic response

My moral compass 🧭 is saying I should but also every one is saying no.

It sounds like your friend's dog, Cooper, is in need of a loving forever home due to allergic reactions in the family. It's wonderful that you're considering the possibility of taking him in. Cooper seems like a great dog from the description - well-trained, good with other dogs, and loving cuddles and playtime.

If you do decide to welcome Cooper into your home, it could be a beautiful and heartwarming story to share on your blog. Rescue stories often resonate with many people and can inspire others to consider adoption too.

It's important to take into account all factors, including your living situation, discussions with your family members, and the responsibility of caring for a pet, especially one that may have five to six more years of life left. Take your time to weigh the pros and cons, and listen to your instincts and what feels right for you and your household.

If you have any specific questions or need more advice, feel free to ask. It's a big decision to bring a new pet into your home, but it can also be incredibly rewarding.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Gratitude, Good Food, and Good Books

A Thanksgiving weekend of family meals, long walks, and reaching 86 books this year Bryan and I headed out for a walk after he returned from his sister’s Thanksgiving gathering, settling into a steady 30‑minute pace that carried us just under 2 km. The air was crisp with a light breeze, the kind of weather that makes movement feel effortless. I’ve always loved these cooler temperatures—my body doesn’t have to work as hard, and the transition from “easy mode” into a gentle warm‑up felt natural. Carrying 30 pounds with me added that extra layer of challenge, but it blended seamlessly into the rhythm of the walk. We paused at a park bench along the way, taking a moment to sit together before snapping a photo. That small break reminded me how these walks are as much about connection as they are about distance or weight carried. The combination of fresh air, conversation, and the grounding presence of the season made the outing feel restorative. It wasn’t just a walk—it was a reminder...
