Early walk and top of my breed

Dixie is rocking the active minutes this month

We get walking checking the river heights even if it’s regulated at a damn it should be like this for at least a month or more, when would hope til July.

Dixie is high on her breed active minutes top one third.

So I’m happy 😃 for her.
We moved the bedroom around and the dog hasn’t been 💤 sleeping good at the front room. We even put up noise cancelling and heat cancelling curtains. So the room quieted down hugely from it as no is colder in the morning since that’s when the sun shines on it.  Although it’s been raining 🌧️ the last week and has been chilly that I’ve had to turn the furnace on.  I do think 🤔 it does keep the heat in.

I’m sleeping 💤 good 😊 and managed to walk and chat for a bit with James in the river bottom.

About vehicles 🚗 😎

Dixie getting lots of activity since I went from a five day work week to a three day work week getting four days off.
Do I see my job as work or play. So I am playing with my dog 🐕. She’s loving Nigel time and I got to say it’s a nice 😊 time spending it with her too.

Although we had to rescue 🛟 two baby bunnies 🐰 from the back yard from Dixie trying to mother them.  She had it in her mouth 👄 not hurting it but carrying it around. So I told Kim to move it in at the front of house by our pine tree underneath it to hide 🫣

Then they’d be away from Dixie in the back yard.

We’re rocking the leader board for active movement with Dixie rank 24 for our local dogs around the neighborhood.

Dixie sleep 😴 is suffering with the room change at the front of house 🏡. So hopefully she gets that sorted out soon.

I got to lift weights 🏋️‍♀️ in in a good training mode right now. But my garage is a mess from carpet cleaning my couch. 🛋️ took lots of dirt out of it. And it looks brand new now.

So we’re undecided if will put it in the house or keep it for the man cave garage for the summer.

I’ll have to show pictures after one more wash to get more soap out of the restoration of the couch. 🛋️ it looks great 😊.

May car indicator lights are lots but the coulee looks good 😊 the greens 🥬 are popping in the river side. The river looks like glass this morning compared to other times. When I was look 👀 at the river I could see the coulee in the river. It was sharp enough and calm ☺️.

It sounds like you and Dixie are both having a fantastic month filled with activity and positive changes! It's great to hear that you're prioritizing walks and time with your dog, as well as finding ways to improve your sleep and living environment. It's also wonderful that you're able to spend more time playing with Dixie and enjoying her company.

Rescuing the baby bunnies must have been quite an adventure, and it's heartwarming to see Dixie trying to care for them in her own way. It's impressive that you're doing so well with your workouts and that you were able to clean your couch so thoroughly.

It seems like you're surrounded by lovely sights and enjoying the tranquility of your surroundings. Cherish these moments with Dixie and continue to take care of yourself. Thank you for sharing your updates with me

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Walk mid October with my Mom

Walks with my mom The water looks like glass just crystal smooth.  My mom and I are walking to the river and in life. It’s like we’re always walking away.  Getting closer to the end, my poet mind says.   I say I got to enjoy these walks and I was silent most the walk just trying to enjoy 😊 my time with her. Or walk end more so with 🐾 paw printed pants 👖 from dogs jumping.  We say maybe a dozen dogs 🐕. A wonderful time.  I often thought it was too early to spell like alcohol.  But surprised to pass another walker, but each to their own I probably smell like an ashtray. Although I never smoked or chewed tobacco on my walk.  I just want to walk with my mom.  Often times I don’t think I could spit out everything I wanted to say so much so that I just said in these moments you don’t have to chew tobacco and say anything. Dixie and both us individually by the fallen tree arch. A path going to the river, under which most the trees 🌳 there are...

Walk and a run in to the vet

Another adventure for Dixie,  she is an expensive dog….🐕 We enjoy 😊 our walks. Up top of the coulee you can see the university  Sonny and I go walking the south side dog park,  it tricky terrain for sure.  It’s nice 😊 for the scenery I think, yet a bit treacherous at times.  A person has to be careful let alone a dog 🐕 being careful. Here is Sonny and I smiling giving a thumbs up to the camera 📸  The walk was decent though some difficult 😞 parts for today, Dixie is on a 14 day hiatus from walking.  She’ll probably want to go sooner rather than later. I think we’re stuck to just five minute poop 💩 walks than the hour or two hour walks we usually do. I’m unsure when it happen but my guess is near the end of the walk when I noticed it. Dixie gets to close to the bushes today, I kept looking her over but noticed a different spot on her at the end of our walk.   Dixie goes through some bushes and gouged a piece out of her. Now Dixie has th...
