I finally got Covid

What I have learnt is… I slept in another room for 5-6 days I found I never πŸ‘Ž got any one else sick 😷 as far as I know. I called in at the end of a shift and wiped down the truck πŸ›» meticulously to keep the next person safe. And tested the next day. And sure enough I was positive.  Good thing I called in. I let my work know I got it. A day before I cleaned the Thursday I got lots of cleaning done and vacuum and mopped the entire house cleaned toilets 🚽  The next day only then on Friday, I was working wearing a mask at the end of my shift.  I went home took two Tylenol and then talked to my wife who told me to call in. Thankfully πŸ˜… for her I’m Still well liked at workplace.  Cause I was struggling saying I needed time off. On Saturday I confirmed on a test it was Covid But  I did seven loads of laundry wash and dry. Clean quilts, pillowcases and sheets, Wiped down lights knobs toilets again sinks and door edges. Was all the sheets and quilts and pillow...

Happy Nov.22 reflective or mirroring nearing

The last couple decades I guess I should start lying about my age sooner than the astonishing fact that I’m out reflecting by self and mirroring my surroundings  Dixie and I start walking 🚢‍♀️ down by the river and sit on a bench to over look the river. An awesome 😎 adventure by our selfs. Dixie meet with Beau, Meggie, Shilo and several other dogs.  Dixie was well behaved. No red light mailman syndrome Or Green light Mary syndrome. Just got the same old mantra of same old in front and same old in back.  We did our meet and greets in passing and just had an amazing 🀩 time together. Listen to mamma Mia going into the coulee and coming out and I felt better leaving the park than going in. I love that feeling like I had something to contribute to my day. A picture by the cottonwood tree 🌳  Half fallen over? And stilll standing, one of the older trees in the park. The species is almost gone in Alberta from what I gather or see around. Dinosaur provincial park is...

Plus 4 in November going to plus 8

Yesterday was plus 14 Celsius  We get walking see the crystal water πŸ’§ in the pond. It sounds like we both had a lovely time out in the park today! Walking by the crystal water in the pond and seeing geese must have been a beautiful experience. It's always nice to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature. A wonderful time out seeing many geese πŸͺΏ around in the open water  πŸ’§  We had a fun time we walked around said hello to two maybe three people in passing. Dixie all but behaved til a 104 lb black lab came up. A doppelgΓ€nger of her except twice the size. She had a melt down for some reason. I don’t know if it’s cause I got on the opposite side of her and the other dog to grouch my garbage πŸ—‘️ in the bin.  But she had a melt down. Sorry 😞 to hear that Dixie had a meltdown when she encountered the black lab. Sometimes dogs can become anxious or reactive in certain situations, so it's important to monitor their behavior and ensure their safety. It's possible ...

Walk with Bryan nov.7

A good wind 🌬️ today Bryan and I get out for a walk, and enjoy 😊 the bit of autumn πŸ‚ we have.  We are very lucky to have such nice weather in November. I was in bare feet and flip flops outside the other day. It’s great to be walking with Bryan again. I haven’t walked with him for a bit. Since life is busy, I really enjoyed his company with me and Dixie. The dog was running circles when she got off leash. I got to have her stop jumping up, yet she was very behaved on our walk I think 🧐.
