Day before valentine

Storm for valentines steak 🥩 dinner


I’m out in hailing storm ☔️ to bbq my wife 🥩 steak.

Since she is working tomorrow we decided to make it a day early.

I get cooking some steak on the barbecue.


After we have a game of cards

She won in one hand.  Making a quick win the last of three games.


I still had my five cards 🃏 I never even got to pick up or play.

She won quick.  I dealt and shuffled.





Having a Budweiser 

It’s zero percent alcohol 🥃  so just for the flavour of it.It is Budweiser 000% alcohol free.

Was an enjoyable meal with a near beer 🍺 🍻 they call it.

Out in a hail storm and I fixed my fence today



Valentine’s morning Kim makes me breakfast 🍳 

We have hash browns, eggs, 🍅 tomatoes, cucumber 🥒 and sausages.



Kim makes me breakfast and gifts me a Tims  card to go for coffee ☕️ this morning.  A nice 😊 morning, couple good meals.  The table and dishes cleaned up afterward.  It’s a good feeling in the house. 🏡

As we made a couple good meals together 

I got steak 🥩 and potatoes salad and coleslaw and Kim made me breakfast this morning, which most days I skip so it is a nice treat.

  Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

  🎉 Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Night run 5 Celsius 🏃‍♂️

  Night run 🏃‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run 🏃‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running 🏃‍♂️  I’m sweat 😓 a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat 😅 the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy 😃 to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh 🙄 I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  😐 cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life.
