i got challenge to write my thoughts out on this..... to take a chance and be vulnerable
Where Ideology Sits When the World Starts Moving Too Fast
I’m writing this because I want to be vulnerable for a moment. I spent the last few days going through my own head, thinking about who was present in the conversations around me — who had a thread, who had a feed, who had a voice. Some things I agreed with, some I didn’t. I’m not here to play critic for the sake of it, but there’s always someone who votes and someone who is voted for, and that tension shapes everything.
Mark Carney wasn’t my first pick for the Liberal candidates. I was looking for someone further left, someone more environmental, someone who spoke directly to the urgency of the next decade — where one‑quarter of vehicles are already electric and the shift is about to accelerate. It’s not that I think Carney is doing a bad job; it’s that he wasn’t the person I imagined leading the next chapter. But he’s the one in the role, and he’s stabilizing things in ways that matter, especially with the security risks rising south of the border and across Europe.
Jean‑Paul Sartre once wrote that a political system devoted to decline instinctively does much to speed up that process. Camus countered with something I hold closer:
“For even if justice be not realized, liberty maintains the power to protest against injustice and keeps the channel for communication open.”
— Albert Camus, Resistance, Rebellion, and Death
That’s where I land. Liberty. Communication. The ability to speak, even when the system feels heavy.
Literature, Bad Faith, and the Practico‑Inert
A friend said he prefers Irish writers, then Russians, then Czech authors like Kafka and Havel. I joked about James Joyce — Portrait and Dubliners — and Shaw. But the truth is, these writers matter because they understood something about institutions: how they drift into bad faith, how they become “practico‑inert,” how collapse becomes self‑fulfilling when no one is willing to name the problem.
That’s not the same situation the United States is in, but they’re facing their own constitutional contradictions. Some people argue that if their currency ever lost global dominance — if it shifted toward a Chinese standard — they wouldn’t have the luxury of printing money without consequence. That kind of pressure forces political reckoning.
I’m not predicting anything; I’m just acknowledging the conversations people are having.
The Freedom Convoy, Accountability, and the Canadian Center
There’s been debate about who funded what, who supported what, and how accountability gets blurred when political movements overlap. Some people argue that certain leaders used the Freedom Convoy to deflect responsibility. Others argue the opposite. What’s clear is that the Every Child Matters convoy was pushed aside in the noise, and that still bothers me. Since 2020 — and now again in 2026 — it seems foreign actors are putting huge amounts of money into Alberta politics, just like they did during the Freedom Convoy, pushing separatist narratives. It looks like accountability, both in the country and in personal political life, is being strained.
Trump and similar actors cast the same familiar shade across the political landscape, the same thriller‑style chaos I keep seeing online. It’s plainly noted in my journals, and there’s no excuse for using national or religious identity as a shield to claim they’re being “attacked” for their beliefs. It’s a populist move that relies on sophistry disguised as sophistication.
Carney, for all my reservations, is operating in a moment where security concerns are real. He’s not my ideal environmental leader, and he’s not the wealth‑balancing figure I hoped for — but he’s competent, and right now competence matters.
Wealth distribution is a real issue: when 50% of the money sits with 1% of the population, families making $75–80k a year, single parents, seniors on $22k — they’re all hovering at or below the poverty line. That’s not good for investment, business, consumers, markets, or the economy. It’s a spiral, left or right, and we’ve landed with a centrist Liberal government trying to hold the middle.
That is 90% provincial stabilization system problem that refuses the 10% federal politics system of just printing money 💰
The easy way provinces can move that money around is social security or RAISING MINIMUM WAGE.
The federals couldn't print it out fast enough for pipelines and provincially they can't keep wages low enough for people to be desperate for a job in a job shortage provincial
Harper was a centrist conservative in his own way, and some argue he made succession difficult on purpose. Whether that’s true or not, the ripple effects are still felt.
Carney may not be my favourite, but he’s better than the right in my view, and he’s stabilizing Danielle Smith’s political situation simply because the country needs security and continuity right now. Foreign money, celebrity influence, and political spectacle can distort accountability — and someone has to keep the country sovereign.
Closing Thoughts
Ideology isn’t a fixed point. It’s a moving line we walk between justice and liberty, between what we want and what we settle for, between the writers who shaped our thinking and the leaders who shape our reality.
I didn’t get the leader I wanted. But I got the leader who can hold the line in a moment where the world is shifting fast.
And maybe that’s the ideology of now:
not perfection, but preservation — keeping the channels open so justice still has somewhere to land.
Blog Prompt: Showing My Work
I’ve spent years writing — over 800 blog posts, countless journals, daily bulletins, and stacks of notes from walks with my dog. Most of my writing isn’t polished. It’s raw, it’s vulnerable, and it’s often just me thinking out loud while moving through the world. People see different things; some don’t write at all. I write everything down.
I’ve read over a hundred books a year this last decade,.. this year has gotten busy and disorganized comes with life i guess and older i get, and most of my research comes from authors, philosophers, and political thinkers. Sometimes I quote them directly for review purposes. Sometimes I paraphrase. Sometimes it’s messy. That’s part of the process. Call it an artistic style: showing the work, not just the final product.
I try to stay out of saying anything political online..... i feel overwhelmed sooo
This piece is a collection of thoughts gathered over years — moments, conversations, threads, feeds, and political reflections to respond today possibly for myself to look back on to say yeah i was writing that and this. It’s not the same as doing a formal essay. It’s a monologue, a projection, a response to what I see online and in the world around me. Trying to put order in to line or lines in order. It's not easy topics and executive function on it is.....
for reason of doing this is voluntary so art and personal reflection possibly grounding.. I do NOT think to many have profited of grace and good intention. so i write,, cause not that i approve, but I'm bothered by it, and writing says I may bothered by just as much as you but possibly writing is an outlet for where as fleeting as je suis m'io du pense
Order of words or words of order is
I like writing and art and I've been trying to make it a regular activity. just to get thoughts on paper or typewriter it out. previous decades I've been paranoid these last few years seem disorganized. i see it over many posts.
I didn’t clean it up at first. You’re right — the AI cleanup changed the narrative, shaped it into something else i might of spent twenty minutes at first then it became an hour before going to go pick up my wife some ice for her cold. That’s fine. That’s part of the experiment. I wanted to show the inner vulnerable side, the rough draft before the walk, the cup‑of‑cola moment where I say: things are okay here, better than some think, and worth writing about.
This is me taking time to say that Mark Carney — whether he’s my favourite or not — arrived at the right moment. He’s doing stellar work in my view, stabilizing things when foreign actors are pushing money into separatist narratives and accountability feels strained. That’s my perspective, shaped by reading, walking, watching, and writing.
Take this as it is:
A rough draft cleaned up by AI, then reshaped again by me.
A monologue.
A projection.
A moment of clarity pulled from a pile of notes.
ai prompt for the blog,.. it is well i i'll show my work and how much i spent on it. i read over 100 books and am busy, the aount of time for this and showing how easy it is to show work is. not the same as doing it, i have over 800 blog posting mostly of just how i like dogs and i like talking books while walking dogs. this is sort of a bunch of notes form many differet times and moments gathered over a in journals i have many jounrals and bulletin daily logs , people see diferent things i gather, some don't even write, looking oer this is just rambles with not many thought of other blog or other writings, i didn't clean it up your right, it did change it to something else i agree. how come i show my work. call it artistic style. most my research is compiled from authors. most the time it plagurisized, for reivew purpose form books who have phd and went to post secondry.. i tried taking out old work and just show the inner voluneerable side. which this is. rough draft and ai clean up and them more inputs after it change my narritve. it is a monolgue take it as a proojection of some on responing to a feed or thread. about mark carney being the right person for the job. he is. is he my favourite. no,.. yet he came at the right time for the job. and he is doing stellar in my views. yet again this is just a cup of coal and before walk chat. take it as is. some one taking time to say things are okay here better than more would like to say there are cercoming too write this and correct it
I a writing this cause I'll be voluneerable with you. I was going in my head who was present and had a thread or a feed on it. some things i agreed with, some things i didn't I am not here to say hey critic most often but there is definitily a person who is votee and some one who votes. I look at it as mark Carney wasn't my pick out the door for the liberal candidites. I was looking for more left, more enviromental. it is not that i don't think mark is doing a job but saving DAnny carrear. 1/4 pof vehicles are electric its in the next decade were going tom see it move fast. a quote from an existensitailism is a politcal system devoted to decline instinctively , does much to speed up that process jean paul sartre yet there are also others that speak of liberty and being still be able to keep lines of communication open with politics. -camus do i think those are two people i'll I choose liberty. For even if justice be not realized, liberty maintains the power to protest against injustice and keeps the channel for communication open."
— Albert Camus, Resistance, Rebellion, and Death

Bad Faith (Mauvaise foi) on an Institutional Level:
The "Practico-Inert
Self-Fulfilling Collapse
now its completely not the same in usa, they are in such a situation that is if there consituition saying there are to have a revolution,,, it might be when the dollar swtihes from usa currency to a china one. its where they wonthave the luxury to be able to just print money as it would devaule currency but it is looking highly as instatitaied issue.
trump is at some point funding the freedom convey to not acqknoelge his accountabllity in and any goverment in the every child convoy that got push to the side to show the prosperity of the freedom convey. it and take a second gander at him if you think he is incompitent too. mark careny is the guy in a job that is conserative, yes and he is not what i would want in office. i wanted a different leader that said i did vote for him. idon't know why it makes so many chuds upset of a guy being liberal. i wanted more level amount of currncy moving between classes right now if money is a finite resource which it is. it 50 percent of it is with 1% of the population. that means people makeing 75 k or 80 k a year with a faily or the single mom and disability or senoir making 22k a year is at or below the poverty line. thats not good for investment not good for business not good for consumers , markets and the econmony. it is wht i would say the spiraling down the drain be it left or right we got a centerist in liberal. i think harper was of the sort center, but on the conservative side, he made it impossible for a next sucessor in the party after him so other people could be hear it is argued, often. in my mind. it was purposeful and had reason. carney came in and he my not be my favourite for the enviromental or balancing the wealth that is around. he is the man for the job certain is. i see the rapid grow he is moving around due to the sercuity risk south. and in europe and he is setting a examople in the world stage that is not interpersonal dealings to profitable in selling and shorting simplilar shares to similar shares into loses.
mark carny rapid grow is time for secutiy when looking like foreign countries are putting more money in so accountibily is strugged off for the presendent and in countires is. when the risk of miss aligning celebreties and noblility in a way that looks like poperotcy has a prejoitve to make eposodic fimilar and similar errors as the oestenoisnessless of accountibility to country and personal is.
mark carney may of not been my favorite person. better than the right by far in my opinion and is saving danelle smith career due to the sercuity threat in the country is. it is by far the guy for the job need to stay a soverien country
