Fort McLeod back roads motorcycle 🏍️

Motorcycle 🏍️ ride to Fort McLeod  I got visit Kim in fort McLeod and make it in about an hour and a half. Taking all the back roads cause the motorcycle really only does 80 km per hour. I could probably go faster but I don’t really want to make a Yamaha 200 to go faster  My average speed was about 50 km per hour  Fastest was 80ish Use up 600 ish calories in an hour and a half and a 💯 ish was resting calories.  So about 500 calories in an hour and a half. Was a fun ride  Mostly in warm up  And easy heart rate zones Now I still got to go back 🙄 such is life I guess.  Would be nice if I could take the highway 🛣️  Dixie is super excited to see me, she gave me a dog tail waging welcome when I showed up.  I’ll add another update when I get back from my ride also. As I leave Dixie goes into full yelping mode. After our walk with her she didn’t like seeing me leave. She didn’t want me to leave. 🐶  On the way back I made better time ...

Dr650 thoughts 💭

I read or watch videos saying going highway speeds for a long time makes a person tighten there abs longer to hold the bike, the dr650 is 2 inches lower than the drz400 making it easier for turns either less stress on the body to turn. So the videos go on. It’s fitness training a hour highway riding is about 500 calories per hour. That’s a big deal. I’d like to go for rides going places the dual sport is… The Suzuki DR650 typically achieves around **21 to 25 kilometers per liter (km/L)**, depending on riding conditions and maintenance. The Chrysler PT Cruiser, on average, gets about **9 to 11 kilometers per liter (km/L)**, depending on the engine and model year. **Comparison:** - **Suzuki DR650:** 21-25 km/L - **Chrysler PT Cruiser:** 9-11 km/L This means the DR650 is roughly **2 times more fuel-efficient** than the PT Cruiser in metric terms. I worked it out to be for 150,000 km just saying if I kept it that long I’d spend about $10,030 in fuel for 150,000 km in the PT cruiser  I’...

Fort McLeod plus 8 Celsius

Kim and I spend our last days together…. We get back from a funeral and go straight to ye trailer While the last few days it’s just been raining 🌧️, we get to go walk out in the morning rain together. I go back to work tomorrow so I’m leaving today.  The dog loved 🥰 our walk out in the rain. 🌧️ May of not been a long walk and long enough Kim says. Kim is now making bacon and eggs.  🥚  We’re sort of stuck Out in the trailer. Kim and I spend at least the last six or seven days confined to vehicles 🚗 or trailers as the such. She is spending the next few days by her self out here and I’m going in to go to work. Be at the house 🏡 for a few days to my self. In the next couple days the rain 🌧️ is suppose to Stop ✋ but I’ll Be at work, at least Kim will get some good weather at the trailer. I’ve must of made four trips out to Fort McLeod in the last couple days  which is almost one way to Edmonton. Plus to Edmonton there and back in four days. My Granny was sup...

Plus 12 Celsius Smoke run 🏃‍♂️

The dog and I decided to do either a 3 km run or a 6 km run or 9 km run hoping for 10 km but I couldn’t find the energy to push further. It is smoky out there you could smell it and breath it in. Made me in my threshold if I keep a higher pace than 9 minutes km Cooler morning,  I went and got a sausage homestyle biscuit from Tim’s and an ice coffee ☕️  Just getting my day started. I got a doctors appointment later today over the phone 📞 also. Hoping to take the dog 🐕 for a run 🏃‍♂️ this morning but I’m stiff. So hopefully my coffee stop warms me up to get moving this morning. Or just caffeinates me. We managed to do 6.05 km in about 59 minutes. A high heart rate of 172 bpm and an average of 144 bpm. Plus 12 Celsius while I ran but I was in full sweating 😅 by the time I got home 🏡. The last couple weeks I’ve had a low relative effort due to some family losses. But I manage to get out on a smoky day like today for a run. 🏃‍♂️  It’s been raining heavily the last...

Plus 14 at 6:30 am Tims walk

Dixie and I walk for an ice coffee and donut she got one donut for her and one donut for me The sun ☀️ shining a little to warm yesterday to go so today I had to get out early. Before the heat started, I was going to run but decided to chat 💬 with a friend while I walked. Such is life, Dixie was in a good 😊 mood after her walk. Did 3 km while the temperature was mostly plus 14 Celsius took me about 49 minutes to do 3 km The dog 🐕 and I are relax at home now. It looked beautiful morning out happy I talked myself into leaving earlier than later.

Plus 34 Celsius second riverside

Morning river  The morning I arrive at the riverside at 10 am Dixie got half of an homestyle sausage biscuit for breakfast from Tim Hortons that we shared together. Afternoon river  I get down in the river for a bit, with the dog. 🐕 remembering her ball and my phone. The first riverside I forgot the phone and also ran out of fuel driving here. Such is life I was waiting for fuel to be a better price. A few people were down when I went down but when Brian arrived no one was at the river mostly all by ourselves  Bryan visited for a bit, I was down by the riverside for about an hour. It got hot 🥵 hot today, then raining out of nowhere now.they’ve been calling for it since I looked this morning but it didn’t look like it would. Hail and tornado watch at the moment. Beautiful day then rain 🌧️ and hail Supper I take Kim out for supper at Opa and I eat at Hannki it cost about $13.00 each A nice 😊 meal and the dog went for a drive with us. We left the windows open for ...
