New dog off leash park

Bryan and I try a new dog off leash park Brian and I go check out a new park down all over on the north end. The dog was excited to try a new spot so Bryan and I.. It’s by the gun club so that made it interesting although you can’t hear any shooting. Today is quite quiet. We did walk around and see lots of dogs.. 🙂 Dixie rock tractive minutes one way over her activity minutes169/140. It’s only 630 and she’s doing good. 😊  I’m tired, haven’t had good 😊 sleep, by 4:30 🕟 I wake up to my internal clock ⏰, Just one my circadian clock wakes up and will get going. I’m used to this time anyway it’s an hour later than it was so I’m surprised 😮 it like I get an extra hour but I’m not you know cause I still wake up at the same time. I’m also super hungry by 445 usually too hungry to actually have a good decent conversation. My social battery runs out because it’s thinking that it’s 5:45.  Which is too late to start cooking 🍳.  And even the dog is anxious 😬 from this ti...

Pavan park at the top

Walking with Bryan plus 1 Celsius outside  Bryan and I walked the top of Pavan park hoping it is off leash which it wasn’t.  Dixie had to be on leash. Walking 2 kilometres in 27 minutes we did good. 😊 On the loop back, we’re walking along power lines and every time we reached a power pole you could just hear a buzz and Hum, I was like telling Bryan that’s a lot of power going through those power lines🤪 Dixie is 23% above her average dog breed at 9:45 AM.   A good dog, but she’s not the easiest to drive with when you’re passing other dogs or sometimes she mistaken runners for dogs and she starts having a fit over runners as well. I’ve learned to just bare with it because she just wants to talk☺️ But it is sort of annoying when she starts barking in the vehicle when dogs pass. Her sleep isn’t the best today at 81% but usually it’s the high 90s so I don’t know if that would make her lay down a little little bit better but she was very attentive today. A good walk I ...

Personal record 4km in 34 minutes

Toby and I are running in Popson park. Making my personal record for the longest running I’ve done yet with my Garmin watch.  I felt pretty good. I’m gonna share my stats if you’re curious what a Garmin looks like in the stats it gives for running.. 🏃‍♂️  The pace I got was the around the goal of 8.5 minutes/km. Says I could’ve gone around 60% longer than what I had done though really breaking my stamina and my watch saying I could do more is a great message.  I felt great so did Toby. Our faces were a little red because of the burst of endorphins and the running.  Got a little quiet on the ride back just enjoying the moment of achieving the goal of running. For 34 minutes. My max heart rate was 167 bpm And my VO2 max is increasing so that’s a great feeling.   For people, wondering how much information is given on garmin for stats, garmin stats are quite incredible. It was great motivation for Toby to join me on my run. I felt like I could do it a l...

Joe and Fort Whoop Up

Joe and I walk fort whoop up. Here we are trying to photograph a pheasant in the bushes☺️,   We walk a few laps chatting and enjoying the plus 18 Celsius weather outside, the van said it got up to 22 Celsius positives. Beautiful 🤩 weather.  The dog 🐕 loved the walk. We had a great time see deer 🦌 and enjoying talking of books we’re reading.  We walk 2 km I forgot to start it right away so we never 👎 tracked the first part of our walk. Joe giving a fair well in parting.  Joe is awesome 😎 and fun guy to walk with.  I enjoyed the time after work. 😌 Dixie even was impressed, and happy 😃 to go for the walk. Also eager to go and visit with walking.

Nov. 4 pavan park

Bryan and I walked Pavan Park. Dixie is super excited. She usually doesn’t get out this early, but Bryan agreed to get going earlier than later so we will start walking. I was surprised but yet I thought it was awesome. 😎 Bryan an early riser again and get going on a walk early made my day. Good 😊  We sit on the bench and Dixie jumps up looking over the river. We could hear cattle 🐄 mooing over on top of the ridge on the coulee’s top. In the photo you sort of see the cattle on top in the middle on the ridge. Quite the distance for my camera to take a photo. We know some beavers, making taking some tree 🌲 trees down in the park. 1.5 km in 20 minutes. We had a pretty good pace this morning. Brian got there a half an hour early.  I still got one and got my coffee and sausage and egg McMuffin. I had to eat before my walk. Everything comes pretty tedious. My bad attitude starts to show quite quick.. I think I’m gonna make hard boiled eggs and Bryan’s diet in the morning....
