Third walk on days off

What a success of time off!

In my time off, Toby and I walk, here he is smiling πŸ™‚ we just managed to get up some up hill parts.

I get Dixie full active minutes for her time off done. Accomplished above her minutes. By the end of today she’ll reach her goal of 140 active minutes.  She rocking her time off.

I send an earlier than expected text asking to bump up our walk by 1/2 hour.  I saw the rain ☔️ coming this afternoon at 40% and thought I’d get a cancel if it started raining. So I asked to go a half an hour earlier.

Saying I had umbrella ☂️ if it did rain.

Where it said it was 10% chance of rain this morning.

Happy πŸ˜ƒ Toby got up for today earlier and had a good attitude to come. Toby is great to walk with, we talked about if he had plans to go to the university in the future.  He did plan to go back, that’s exciting and awesome 😎 plan for the future.

It’s nice that the university is here in Lethbridge, it’s one of the better ones.

2.55 km walked today. With 35 floors of stairs we did.  A good amount.

Dixie is just on the tipping point of being above average for her breed. But we had a good go of walking with her while on my days off.

She might even go over tomorrow after todays steps get in.

Toby buys me an ice 🧊 ☕️ coffee today. A great 😊 treat for the day.  I’ve managed to drink three of them this morning so I’m getting stuff done today.
Got some plans of cleaning 🧼 bathrooms 🚽 and empty the dish washer and possible laundry 🧺.

Hopefully a game

Of PC gaming for maybe an hour if it works out.

Or might lift weights πŸ‹️‍♀️ as of yet with, all the bad air quality I doubt it.

The smoke and particulate in the air is bad I hear the rain is all over the province all the way to BC. So the fire fighters should be happy. πŸ˜ƒ here we have a bad air quality of 10 which is the worst it can be although other places can be worst. It’s bad for this location n how much smoke there is.

It sounds like you had a fantastic time off! It's great to hear that Dixie is meeting her active minutes goal and that you had such a productive walk with Toby. It's definitely nice when the weather cooperates and you can enjoy your outdoor activities.

Walking 2.55 km with 35 floors of stairs is impressive! It's wonderful that Dixie is so close to being above average for her breed, and it sounds like she’s really enjoying her time off as well.

And how nice of Toby to treat you to an iced coffee! It sounds like you have a solid plan for the rest of the day with your cleaning tasks. Keep up the great work, and I hope tomorrow brings even more success!

August leadership board we got up to 25 n the local community

Toby dad took their dogs Rose, Rollo, and Maisy got walk around the dog park, his dog he took the off trails.  It’s stellar dog people are awesome 😎, usually they get more steps with dogs than with out dog people.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
