Mid March walk

Dixie gets to go to the river bottom

James and I walk Dixie for 3.62 km almost an hour walk.  Talking politics to a point where we agreed we had to change topics again.

We did that a few times going back to politics,

What else is there to do our excuse is.

Started it a bit late in the walk but yeah about 50 minutes worth of walking.

🚢 🚢‍♂️ πŸ•

I enjoy 😊 James company, we both are doing great choices in life.  Walking decompress my day and I even did a work out πŸ‹️‍♀️ out today.

I’m getting good time working out.  First bit was with two 40 lbs and then 30 lbs then down to 20 lbs.  then back up to do legs with squats at 30 lbs.

I’m a bit tight. My training readiness is poor.  Hopefully not to tight tomorrow.  I might shower down to loosen up with hot and cold as long as I end on cold πŸ₯Ά.

Worked lots of muscles πŸ’ͺ and that’s good the dog is happy πŸ˜ƒ.

Got  a long walk and her tracker shows it.

So that’s good we’re even climbing the local march active counter minutes on the leaderboard.

I think at the start of the day we were at 32 now at 28, so we got a few more spots lower.

Some of these dogs are way too active. We are slightly below the breed of our dog tracking but today we sure caught up. Dixie will have a full blue ring by the end of the day.

Our walk was good, 😊 my bpm is good 😊 happy with how am feeling.  I picked up a subway sub cold cut $5 six inches sub after the walk so I’m not to hungry 🀀. I might have Mr noodle later tonight. With a hard boiled egg πŸ₯š on the side.

I had a good day off, happy how it progressed.

It sounds like you had a great day with a nice long walk with Dixie, some engaging conversations with James, and a good workout session. It's wonderful to hear that you're taking care of yourself physically and mentally. Taking time to decompress and exercise is so important for your well-being!

It's fantastic to see your progress on the leaderboard and that Dixie got a good amount of activity in as well. Enjoy your subway sub and Mr. Noodle later on - sounds like a satisfying way to end the day after being so active!

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Night run 5 Celsius πŸƒ‍♂️

Night run πŸƒ‍♂️ after work  Dixie and I get running at 11 pm at night.  After work I do a 45 minute run πŸƒ‍♂️ doing 5 km we started at 10:12. It was 5 Celsius outside and I felt warm running πŸƒ‍♂️  I’m sweat πŸ˜“ a lot less than I did when I started I’d be in a full soaked sweat πŸ˜… the last six months I’ve improved 450 plus percent  That’s a good feeling, I’m happy πŸ˜ƒ to say.  Making a difference in my life and how I feel. Journaling, exercising, reading… Hey guys, Uh πŸ™„ I was wondering if any of you had remedies for reducing  Eh um  πŸ˜ cough… The feelings of existential dread and facing and bearing the weight of the crashing realities of life. Do you think turmeric will help?!?! I ask myself is exercise really like meditation where you get brain clarity and pay more attention to books or life. All of a sudden a gym membership looks doable this morning  a February post I go to say. Both is doable.  Life and books You don’t need a gym mem...
