Cohiba and International women’s day march. 8th

I get smoking a Cuban cigar.

Can’t have cigar rings on cigars any more so this is a rarity.  There’s also a shortage of cigars in Canada with plan packing laws now.  I did enjoy journaling those.

I couldn’t believe how good the end cut. I got very excited 😊 about how good the end cut.

Nice and packed, no flaking.

Hard to believe it’s a factory second for it.

No running on the wrapper, nice ash.

I was impressed.  Sweet notes and no dryness on my pallet.  I’m paring a zero Budweiser non alcoholic beer with it.

Some oak notes, I do have a cedar humidor but I find more oak at first I tasted a bit of raisins after it’s lit, and citrus 🍊 at the beginning on dry inhale.

Milk chocolate 🍫 tasty πŸ‘… sort like the beer 🍺 with gets a mossy taste after a sip of beer.

Leather smell πŸ‘ƒ

I’m 😊 in a delightful mood.

If at all an Albertan disappointed at how bad groceries and fuel is I’m a bit more concerned about lack of minimum wage increase and the housing boom missing Alberta which is worst than making less or earning less I think everyone can agree we need to democratize property not just for the one percent in corporate backing the GDP billionaires of the right but for nuclear and community families.

All I see is Another Trump in Canada, Pierre Making it look worse than it is.  And no one’s wages increasing or housing improving.

I got a cigar at least, and I’m enjoying my evening on International women’s day.

I needed a breather,

Cigar night and a good 😊 one at that.

After a second cut to get the soggy end off it’s inhale great

😊 thank goodness I’m done ✅

Stuck it in my last moleskine, I’m changing journal brands. And this is my last month using moleskines.

An enjoyable experience I found.

You’d likely knew the history of Cohiba, it’s definitely a women’s movement cigar.

Started and ended my night with Meharis Java

Couple of these after my Cohiba.
