Break of lit

June to July

I took a break in June to July on my Lits.  Again I decided I'd publish my blogs again.  Under another website link.

I started needing to take a break from writing.

We got some visitors June.26 and visited having hotdogs in the back yard.

Last time we had visitors I got a panic attack and we had to go to the parents to have burgers.

Yet this time πŸ˜ƒ we cook here.

I vacuumed and mopped the floor 4-5 times til the mop bucket had clean water.

Friends last year that visited I could not get cleaning the 🏠 house. And had to cancel.

Yet this visit was an enjoyable event.

I took the dog for many walks that day to calm her down.

After changing admins

I am trying to delete my anonymous account Jiminy niggles.  But I've been using it do much that it took over as a main email.

Do I've trying to unused it til I could get rid of it.

Use it less.

New website new admin. Took so tech savvy to figure it out.  Trying to switch blogs as such.

I also figured out how to change google home. Which had some technical errors as well.

Now it's mostly going to be a silent hidden email.  Hopefully deleted after I figure out how to backup my photos.

Made me feel good ☺️ to get that task done.  It turned out that Google account got bigger use than it meant too.

Google is addictive once your using a pixel phone.  Just that big of a platform that it just launched itself easier than others.  Takes over it all.

Tossing toys to the πŸΆπŸ•

June and July photos are these, hope your all good this July.  Just after I deleted my blog. Or unpublished it.

Some time out at the trailer this long weekend πŸ˜ƒπŸ˜Š

Kim and I go for swims with the dog.  Dixie jumps from the shore and lands on my stomach.  I think she thought it was funny.  I got scratches from it.

Here we are sitting in the shade while enjoying the outside.

The RV parked beside us, nudged my car while parking I got a small scratch.  I told him not to worry about it, it's an old car πŸš—.  Would of been different if it were a bigger hit.

But I wasn't to worried over it πŸ˜‚.

Actually I was waving my arms trying to tell him to watch the pole beside his car. And he had that covered and pulled til be nudged the car.  He then in a surprised look goes did I hit your car.

I go, yeah, what I get for waving my arms trying to back you up in my thoughts.

No worries ☺️😊.

I texted moving my car so he'd have space there.  But he just pulled in a like a boss ordered a cab after he parked, and got a rental afterward.

I smiled when a cab pulled into the resort.

My old job.

Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour πŸƒ‍♂️

Dixie and I go for a run  πŸƒ‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run πŸƒ‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin. So my goal right now is to get an endurance score over 5099 To move past ...

Celebrating Ten Years and Living My Best Life🧘‍♂️ A Quiet Day at Home

πŸŽ‰ Celebrating 10 Years Together Last night was a beautiful celebration of a decade spent with Kim. We marked our 10-year anniversary with a cozy dinner at The Keg, where I indulged in a hearty 20 oz steak and Kim opted for a more modest 8 oz cut. It felt so good to get out together and enjoy a special evening. We kept things simple—just water to drink, with fresh bread and salad to start. The atmosphere was perfect, and I soaked in every moment of our time together. We’re incredibly grateful for our families, who made the night even more special. My parents generously gave us cash to enjoy our dinner, and Kim’s parents gifted us movie money so we could extend the celebration. Their thoughtfulness reminded us how lucky we are to be surrounded by love and support. Family and friends made it sweeter We were so blessed by our families: my parents gave us cash to enjoy the night and Kim’s parents sent money for a movie treat. Our friends even gifted us a 20% tip card for the meal...

Gratitude, Good Food, and Good Books

A Thanksgiving weekend of family meals, long walks, and reaching 86 books this year Bryan and I headed out for a walk after he returned from his sister’s Thanksgiving gathering, settling into a steady 30‑minute pace that carried us just under 2 km. The air was crisp with a light breeze, the kind of weather that makes movement feel effortless. I’ve always loved these cooler temperatures—my body doesn’t have to work as hard, and the transition from “easy mode” into a gentle warm‑up felt natural. Carrying 30 pounds with me added that extra layer of challenge, but it blended seamlessly into the rhythm of the walk. We paused at a park bench along the way, taking a moment to sit together before snapping a photo. That small break reminded me how these walks are as much about connection as they are about distance or weight carried. The combination of fresh air, conversation, and the grounding presence of the season made the outing feel restorative. It wasn’t just a walk—it was a reminder...
