I get tossing the steel in the pegs in the ground. I hit the pegs but no wrap around's, besides one.

A fun day 😁



My brother and sister from the Cayman islands are visiting.  So I enjoyed playing horse 🐎 shoe with them.

We each won a game with the guys.

Another event before the horse shoes was a deer came and visited me out front.


A deer walked right behind me to eat the bush.

I was out for fresh air and noticed it walked right up to me. Not even bothered by the smoke.



I rode the motorcycle 🏍️ for supper.

Then got a text to play horse shoes. So I went over.

My sister said some nice comments how I was always the best player but I never got into sports. That made me smile.  I hit a few ringers on the post but only one stuck around.

Most the time it would tumble wheel out of the zone.

The games got long. We visited after wards in the deck.  And enjoyed conversation out in the evening.

The sun gave went down later and the more shade we got.

 After seven weeks of setbacks and recovery, I laced up with Dixie and reclaimed my rhythm—3.64 km of steady effort, heart in the aerobic zone, and a reminder that progress starts with showing up. This afternoon, Dixie and I laced up and headed out for a run while the daylight was still holding on. It felt so good to be back out there after a bit of a break, moving at our own pace and enjoying the fresh air together. There’s something about running with Dixie that makes the effort lighter—her energy and joy keep me motivated, even when I’m easing back into the rhythm. At first, I thought about pushing myself to five kilometers, but I remembered the back pain I’ve been dealing with and decided to listen to the advice of my AI fitness coach: don’t overdo it on the first run back. Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

  Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin.
