Those walks with my dad are getting rarer

I get walking and do a lap before my dad joins me on my walk. A decent amount of walking my pace has slowed down in an hour to 4 km instead of five km for an hour. I have a mouth πŸ‘„ full of red man chew or americas greatest chew. Sort of see it in the photo. The first bit of walk the walk was chilly so we both came with jackets but took the layers off  once on the the walk. We talking camping in September and I say the mountain leafs changed at the end of August and on the prairie it changes at end of September. So it should be a beautiful time of year to go. All ready I see the odd patch of leaves πŸ‚ that are yellowing but that’s 5% or of 95% of trees leaves πŸƒ 🌳 that are completely green. Dixie is still in the 25 leaderboard for August. She been good 😊 even with two days of little walks instead of bigger ones. On my days off we had rain yesterday and lots of it. I tried to find people to go for blogging but got more no’s and just decided to clean the house. Cleaned a roo...

Kite boarding days and a decade later

I hear the farmers Alamac in a quick Google search says there’s gonna be a snowy wet winter πŸ₯Ά I sure hope so, ground water πŸ’§ and farmers need it, not only that but winter fun 🀩 my family is up in the mountains πŸ”️ now beautiful weather. Up on Haig Ridge berry picking And it’s still August to early be talking of snow ⛄️ but I’m still googling it. First thing I’m letting A.I. Write most mostly all this blog post.  Usually I don’t do that but it’s good 😊 fun πŸ„‍♂️ how much time has flown by since I was out kiteboarding with my 5 m and 13 m kites on Lake Newell! 🌊πŸͺ  Watching the weather patterns change over the past decade has been eye-opening. We haven’t had a good snowfall in a while, but this year might just be different! ❄️ With temperatures rising by about .2 degrees a year, it's already a degree warmer than it used to be.  Here’s hoping for the snowpack we've all been craving for the ski hills! ⛷️ Anyone else excited for winter sports this season? Let’s make some ...

Second Year Work Anniversary Yahoo

πŸŒŸ Celebrating two amazing years at my job, Yahoo! πŸŽ‰ Today, I treated Kim to dinner to mark this special anniversary with starting my job two years ago, and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than at OPA! πŸ₯³ The food was incredible, and I think we may have found our new favorite spot!  Cheers to new beginnings, great adventures, and delicious meals! πŸ₯‚❤️  In Swedish they say ja, jag Γ€r arbetar This last week I’ve started slowing my reading since I readed my goal and I want to be close to accurate on estimating my year of book πŸ“• reading and so I’m trying to learn three languages on Duolingo for 2024 or til the end of year. Spanish, Italian, and Swedish last week I got silver this week looks like I’ll get gold. I thought learning some languages instead of reading near πŸ’― books πŸ“š in a year is a bit better since the last decade I’ve read over a thousand books πŸ“šwith including the books I don’t catalog on 😊 Goodreads. So after cataloging it for yup ten years I’...

Third walk on days off

What a success of time off! In my time off, Toby and I walk, here he is smiling πŸ™‚ we just managed to get up some up hill parts.   I get Dixie full active minutes for her time off done. Accomplished above her minutes. By the end of today she’ll reach her goal of 140 active minutes.  She rocking her time off. I send an earlier than expected text asking to bump up our walk by 1/2 hour.  I saw the rain ☔️ coming this afternoon at 40% and thought I’d get a cancel if it started raining. So I asked to go a half an hour earlier. Saying I had umbrella ☂️ if it did rain. Where it said it was 10% chance of rain this morning. Happy πŸ˜ƒ Toby got up for today earlier and had a good attitude to come. Toby is great to walk with, we talked about if he had plans to go to the university in the future.  He did plan to go back, that’s exciting and awesome 😎 plan for the future. It’s nice that the university is here in Lethbridge, it’s one of the better ones. 2.55 km walked today....

Scenic dog park-Tilley hat

Toby and I go to scenic dog park  I buy us ice coffee for the walk, I got Dixie water but couldn’t find her water dish. So she drank out of the bottle. I think she likes it that way. I talk us into another walk to find my Tilley Hat 🧒 I dropped on our walk.  Actually Toby was asking if we should do a second on I was undecided til I lost my hat 🧒, that decided it for me. I was wishing the hat a good home 🏑 if some one where to Find it, but a good person put it lost and found. Toby looking out over scenic looking how beautiful 🀩 the coulee looks. You can spot the university on top of the other side of the coulee. An amazing building. One day I might go there, it be nice 😊 if I could one day. We get walk our second lap to see where I dropped this hat to see if we could spot it again. Dixie is 26 on the local leaderboard she’s doing great still about average in all the πŸ• dogs. She is doing great 😊 in my view, it’s great to get a walking buddy cause I walk so much mor...

Sunridge Park

Toby and I go for a walk in sun ridge park for just about an hour at the hottest time of day. I wore black pants πŸ‘– they were light weight.   A beautiful day out. The park was a little way out for Toby. Next time. We’ll have to go to scenic dog park. I’ll be between both of us, but he came in visit me near my place. We do three laps around the pond. The dog is sure tuckered out she’s laying right beside the vent the AC vent. I took her collapsible water dish and a water bottle for her. She really enjoyed the water. Toby talked about his dogs πŸ• Dog talking people are awesome 😎  Toby is a pleasure to walk with, he is an excellent listener and chatted a few time when I’d stop rattling off my conversation.  I get blithering of babbling and never stop.  He kept an excellent pace for Dixie and I it’s my kind of fun walking.  And not many nice days left. We walked 4.16 km in 54 minutes another 10 minutes walk and then we would’ve had 5 km. I’m sure of it with h...
