I get walking in rain
The leafs look π awesome. So like they are away to be blown in a month off the tree π³.
Dixie and I have a blast taking photos. We meet a fellow dog walker saying we have special dogs that don’t let us have time to our self’s. He was correct ✅ the lucky ones to get to walk in this weather.
Walking in the rain can be a unique and refreshing experience, bringing a sense of tranquility and connection with nature.
It's great Dixie enjoyed the changing autumn scenery, with the leaves looking beautiful and preparing to fall from the trees in the coming month. The encounter with a fellow dog walker who understood the joy of walking in such weather, and the feeling of having special dogs who keep everyone busy, must have added an extra level of camaraderie to a walk.
While it would have been nice if others could have joined me on our walk, sometimes circumstances and commitments prevent people from participating. The important thing is that Dixie and I were able to spend quality time together and create lasting memories.
Overall, it sounds like a pleasant evening filled with nature, companionship, and self-reflection. Cherish these memories.
Crossing the bridge for a walkway. I’m soaked from the rain. I rubbed down Dixie when we got home. She absolutely love that. Rubbing into me then dog ward down pose to run around…
Even though Dixie got soaked by the rain, it's a heartwarming to feeling I took the time to dry her off and give her some extra love and attention. It sounds like she thoroughly enjoyed it, as dogs often do!
We walk by the lake anyway, to enjoy the last of it being open. One more month or maybe a month and a half it should be frozen over.
Exploring the area around the lake before it freezes over, is a must to do, as a lovely experience. It's always nice to savor the last moments of an open space before it transforms into a winter wonderland.
Stopping in a church parking lot and taking a photo when it’s coming down harder I light a cigarette π¬ by this time it’s been raining ☔️ all day. I went with a umbrella π but kept it close cause I was wearing a fedora.
I did use it at the beginning which it was blowing away. Wind is blowing not crazy Lethbridge wind but it’s a breeze.
Checking out the paths and keeping the dog πΆ excited she love the smells. I thought it was a fresh smell also.
You might be wondering why I went alone…
Dixie and myself. We went alone, I taking a photo timer that’s how I took the photos. I was hoping to join a fellow dog walker. There was only one crossing paths into and out of the park.
Honestly I had fun, journaling my walk. And taking photos.
The dog got out, and it sure encouraged me to get out and walk, when I get to think I get to write ✍️ about it.
Even if it felt wet. I don’t mind drying off Dixie and hanging a wet jacket π§₯ up with a hat to dry.
A fedora keeps the head and face dry, it’s different from a wicker hat or boat / Tilly hat π§’.
A pleasant evening. Dixie and I.
I did pass the invite to three people, my dad he can be excused cause he had surgery, my wife I guess she had other things to attend to, and a friend…. He watching a convention.
Dixie and I got out and got some awesome photos, on the last day of September.
A great time walking in the rain with Dixie and taking photos. It's always refreshing to enjoy nature even in different weather conditions. I'm glad π to share them here and Dixie had a pleasant evening.
It's understandable that not everyone was able to join me on my walk. Sometimes people have other commitments or responsibilities. The important thing is that I got Dixie and had a wonderful time together; captured some awesome photos.
ππgreat pictures!
