My birthday flower tower

Kim and I get planting for her birthday 🥳.

I made a flower tower and got it done for her birthday.  


One of them got the rain we got the other didn’t get as much so the pink one didn’t turn out as planned.

You do need to water it a day before so the dirt doesn’t slide out.


Hopefully they turn out, I think I damaged the roots in one of the tower to much cause the dirt kept sliding out. I left it out in the rain but did notice that one of them wasn’t getting as much rain under the eavesdropping so it was a bit dryer.


A bird has all ready left it’s 💩 in my planter but I think it’s going to be a good year.

My dad is my gardening now of the back yard, finished mowing a bit in a spring rain 🌧️ while gardening it. The shower only lasted 20 minutes.

Hopefully she likes the meal plan.


Got part of the garden in, carrots 🥕 onions 🧅 tomatoes 🍅 and strawberries 🍓 

Garlic was in last spring so I had lots this year to replant. And some onions that where there from last year got replanted.



And some red bell peppers 🫑

 After seven weeks of setbacks and recovery, I laced up with Dixie and reclaimed my rhythm—3.64 km of steady effort, heart in the aerobic zone, and a reminder that progress starts with showing up. This afternoon, Dixie and I laced up and headed out for a run while the daylight was still holding on. It felt so good to be back out there after a bit of a break, moving at our own pace and enjoying the fresh air together. There’s something about running with Dixie that makes the effort lighter—her energy and joy keep me motivated, even when I’m easing back into the rhythm. Plus 4 Celsius 6.1 km in a hour 🏃‍♂️

  Dixie and I go for a run  🏃‍♂️ Dixie and I go for a run, redo a hill run down and up again. Kim picks me up after I climb the hill, I called her and asked since I was over my hour mark, originally I wanted to do 9 km in an hour but I managed to do six km instead.  I think it was the hill climb that did it.  I ran fully down hill no problem 😌 We made good time.  For a hill run 🏃‍♂️   It looks like it will be 13 Celsius by noon but it feels warmer in the sun. ☀️  I took a picture by the usual spot that judge where the river is from other years and with that rain the last couple days it definitely looks a lot better than what it was a few weeks ago Dixie went off leash for a bit and went to the river. Must’ve been cold. I think for April water dip. I managed to bring my VO2 max up to good 😊 today, it’s the first time I’ve put it in the green since owning my second Garmin.
